That solo part particularly reminds me a lot of bucketheads style. Just as much as I adore Princes emotional solos, I absolutely fucking love fast, clean and melodic solos aswell. The world of virtuosos is another world :>

How did I grow up listening to Rush, Megadeth, and Slayer and not get into this guy’s music? I love instrumentals, shredding, and metal. Better late than never I suppose!
@royeaston60673 ай бұрын
Maybe Because the singer for racer x sings in the cliche hair metal/ bad dio impression. And I love hair metal but the dude sings with no feeling like someone doing an impression of an impression. Might be this solo though it has so much feeling it like a gravity well that pulls the weight from everything around it.

To each his or her own, of course... but I disagree about this being "The Best" version! (comment from someone below) Anything Paul does is absolutely great, but this seemed like he was riffing with not quite as much feel in comparison to the version I am posting a link to. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJ-QqJ1qpbejf6c
