Brilliant video demonstration, new to your channel, I really like Absolute Rinseless, have used ONR and mckees but the absolute has better cleaning power and gloss , just needs a good stir before use, I mix with warm water when adding absolute to the bucket , it helps with the gloopyness !

Now that it’s getting cold here on Long Island, I’m starting to travel with pre-filled buckets of warm water. As I’m setting up, I stick the Absolute bottle in the bucket and put the lid back on. After I’m done cleaning the wheels, I pour Absolute into the bucket and it’s a bit smoother. I still lean in favor of ONR personally, especially due to its consistency and ease of dilution regardless of temperature. I haven’t used McKee’s , though I’ve heard good and bad just like with every other detailing product. I couldn’t speak to cleaning power being clearly better one way or the other. In addition to obviously rinsing with a pressure washer, I’m using Koch Chemie’s multi star as a presoak on heavily soiled vehicles. That stuff is SERIOUS and has some strength to it that I’ve never seen with other pre-cleaners. I feel like suddenly rinseless washes started popping up when ONR was already on its 4th formula, and these other manufacturers are still trying to copy the original. I think I’m going to place another bulk order for ONR because I feel that loyalty to the original source. Plus, Opti Seal is my default protection when I’m not installing a coating, and I like knowing that I have the synergy of ONR and Opti Seal providing the optimal results. Unless my local wholesaler (who only carries Absolute) comes to me with an unbeatable price for bulk, or one of the others clearly starts to outperform ONR, I don’t see myself making the switch. But I have enjoyed trying Absolute, it definitely yields good results, and it has a very pleasant smell.

Didn’t list the wheel brush. What do you recommend for the barrels?

Don’t really have a preference, I’ve used a bunch over my time and there are many out there that are good. Google “barrel brush for detailing” and you will see a ton of options that all do the same thing….clean the barrels. I’m not so concerned with the material type here as compared to using microfiber for the spokes and face as I mentioned because the barrels don’t need to be as “pretty” as the other parts getting detailed. ***obviously if it’s a show car, or something special with polished barrels or whatever then yea…opt for the microfiber style. Like anything else, you get what you pay for. Don’t be surprised if cheaper ones break or don’t last as long. EZ Detail, Incredibrush, and Wheel Woolie’s are widely regarded as the better ones and tend to be more popular. EZ detail is the one you see in this video simply because that what my local wholesaler sells.
