Rio 3 - my biggest upcoming film fear (as of right now)

Ever since the shut down of Blue Sky Studios and since Ice Age 6 was awful and disrespectful to the source material, I fear that Rio 3 will suffer from this too all because of one clear reason: Stupid and nonsensical criticism of Rio 2 from people on the internet! Also I wanted to make this video longer with more in depth details but I’m busy with other things so I figured I would make this quick. If Rio 3 is disrespectful to everything that makes Rio 1 and 2 great, I will get mad and ignore this movie. As for Blu himself, if Disney ruins his character with bad writing and/or doesn't get Jesse Eisenberg to voice him, that's going to be not cool.

@@dylangasserstudios2620 I know this may sound disrespectful. But I heard in the new ice age movie in 2022 both Sid’s and Diego’s love interests didn’t appear in the 6th movie. So maybe. Just maybe. Jewel wouldn’t appear in the third movie. I know that may sound harsh. But if that happens I would be happy. In my opinion jewel is the worst part of Rio. If you like her that’s fine. It’s just that Blu is just more important and recognisable compared to Jewel. I don’t even think people even remembered her. Btw if you wondering why I don’t like Jewel. Well… let’s just say she is too violent. And rude. And kinda irritating. The inky good thing about jewel is her voice. Except when she screams. She sounds like a old lady loosing her crap.

@Legomoviefan2008 1. I know that every Ice Age character from parts 4 and 5 didn’t appear in the 6th film which is one reason why it is disrespectful. 2. I don’t think Jewel’s character deserves all of the hate, especially in regards to part 2. I don’t think Jewel will be ignored in Rio 3 since she is important as well as Blu’s romantic partner.

I know Blue Sky shut down but I fear Disney will make Rio 3 bad by being disrespectful to the original movies just because of stupid criticism and people hating Rio 2 which is the same reason why Ice Age 6 stunk!

Yes I am aware that some people like Rio 2, including myself. I was referring to a majority of people who disliked it and I heard some KZbinrs that I watch trash talk it. I hope Bob Iger will be respectful to the original movies unlike Ice Age 6 which was the complete opposite!

Well it was awful and disrespectful to the original series! Many characters from the series were cut out of the series recap segment and the present time and ignored as if they didn’t exist, the voice cast didn’t come back except for Simon Pegg as Buck, and the writing was awful!
