Me on 2011: Nah, this movie will be a same old sing along film. Who right now gonna watch this movie? Now in 2015: I regret my ignorance. Why I should seen it before when it was released. I took 4 years to erase my ignorance and discover the real message of the movie. Throughout those years, I wasn't a fan of watching animated movies. I did have few movies that love it such as How to Train Your Dragon, but Rio was one of the movies that I thought it would suck and nonsense. Now in 2015, I got the curious to watch it and changed my mind. I realize that Rio is a movie which you can learn many things.The story was amazing. I did like it more than most of any pixar movie released recently. Checking the ratings it got, this movie is sure underrated.

Sim! It would be incredible for there to be a third! After watching Rio the first time, I did research on the Spix's Macaw AKA Little Blue Macaw (Cyanopsitta Spixii) and it's real situation. @@spacey3024 Interesting. I notice a lot of people in the comments watched Rio when they were younger and then rewatched it years later and found they liked it a lot. From what I can infer, it seems like one of those movies you like better when your older since you can understand it better. As for the the jokes, personally I liked them better than other Blue Sky movies. Blue Sky is pretty hit or miss with their jokes. A good example is Ferdinand. I felt like the jokes ruined the serious message that it was trying to show.

I don't even think there's been a point where Blu actually remembers where he was born specifically and the closets examples would be those quick flashbacks he got and even then they weren't all that clear.
