Hiya,
that finale. it was a lot. of course a part of me still wants that ending to be a set up for turner and all that but if not, i'm okay with it. i just really hope rio isn't dead. i think he's gonna be fine tbh. i'm ready to for s3 with the lover/enemy angst to be stronger than ever. there's been a lot of hate for the finale (just like the killing eve finale as well) but for me, it's fine. their relationship has always been like this. rio has been pushing beth to realize this dark part of her that she's been denying since the beginning. beth has gotten a taste of power and she enjoys it. it's a very dangerous game and there are consequences but a big part of brio's story has been about rio getting beth to see who she can become and her battle with that part of herself, so for me it makes sense that it would lead up to something explosive happening. they both have love/hate for each other and good/bad within them and i find that it's what makes their relationship interesting. i still love brio and all their angst and chemistry.
anyway this song, it's perfect for them. beth and rio both have a hold and power over each other in some way. i am sorry that my editing is all over the place. i started this video when the season started and i kept adding scenes after each episode and the quotes just kinda got out of control, subtitles are available

Okay I’m gonna start with the video because I have to say A LOT: S**t the way you edited this. Holy hell. I ADOREDD the way you put the “a full clips adds a pound” quotes in one, that was a fucking eargasm. Second , all the parallels you added and the way you told their toxic/romantic/cat and mouse story in such a clever way to do it. I love that by the video was going, their story started to crack, and put their shit on each other. Blaming each other. And third, I loved how you did the text and added the perfect lyrics to the video. Y’all this is a masterpiece and you captured brio so good! Now, the finale. At first I was mad, I was like in denial and all the twitter brio fans were like killing Everyone who wanted to find a way to protect Beth and were saying that Rio deserved better (me included) but after reading a lot of comments. The way it ended was very poetic. Rio since the 2x01 said that she needed to finish the job and kill boomer or the rotten eggs. Rio pushes her way too much this time and it was interesting that the rotten egg of the whole plot was Rio to Beth, and beth has been a rotten egg to Rio. Beth can’t build a whole new kingdom, SHEs too green for that work! And all I can ask for season 3 is Rio screwing Beth new kingdom and giving her a wake up call. Also, with that killing eve season finale, I find it razonable well because eve stabbed villanelle so it was an eye for an eye. I get so many similarities to brio when it comes that villanelle trying to get that dark eve out of her, and Rio pulling out that dark Beth. The both couples are toxic but they are attracted to each other. And trying to kill themselfs , that’s what makes a lot interesting the plot of both shows. I want to say a lot more but I might get a 20 minutes speech so ima gonna let it like that lol

I loved it so so so soooo much! All the parallels were just perfectly captured and edited. Videos like this help me get through, hiatus cause man it is tough haha

It's a shame the audio from the show is drowned out by the song because this had the potential to be epic. I'm sorry to say, I couldn't finish watching it as it hurt my ears! :(

Yh this was the issue i had when editing, i couldn't balance the lyrics with the voiceovers since i added so many in. Sorry :/
