Right? What happened? It was an INSNE moment of airtime and the last couple of years is not the same anymore. I thought it was me that my torelance to airtime changed, but I can see I'm not the only one. It's a shame, but still an amazing water ride, specially in the baking Spanish summers. About the effects...it had them. Indian sounds, guns, stuff mooving around the town...but it broke down and never got fixed unfortunately. Thanks for the review!

Río Bravo opened with velcro belts across everyone's lap, and for the first few years all effects that you missed worked (boulder, population sign, water tower) as well as audio cues. It's a shame that Parque Warner (along with Parques Reunidos) have left the attraction in this poor condition. As for the boats, at one point the park decided to rope off each boat's last row (in fact, it didn't even have seats mounted), I guess while they were figuring out what to do with the abrupt airtime moment that you experienced I while ago. During my visit in 2023, all rows were open and no seatbelts in sight, but as you mention no airtime to be found: it is a lot tamer now.

Rio Bravo opened with orange velcro seatbelts, which got your clothes moist even before leaving the station, but were also kinda needed on that insane bunny hop. It's mind-boggling why they chose to remove them and let riders go over that airtime-filled hill without any restraint whatsoever for many years. It's a shame it's trimmed to death now though, they could have easily found a better solution than that. The Australian version seems to have boats by White Water West with individual lap bars.

Canobie Coaster would say: Río Bravo is a large and highly themed log flume at Parque Warner Madrid. And I think it was the world's wildest flume, notice the past tense though. Unfortunately, there was a recent change to this ride that neutered its s _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ moment. That being said, it is still a f _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ride and I'll explain why in this review. There are two words missing in the quote. Which ones? What do you think?

Yes, I have ridden it. It's rough, but it has several spots of airtime.

I reviewed that ride years ago. It has improved ever so slightly with the retrack, but it went from a 0 out of 10 to a 1 out of 10. What I said in the old review still holds true. The ride is awful.
