Rio Gallegos, A non-tourist town in Patagonia Argentina. Capital of Santa Cruz

Rio Gallegos is the centre of the sheep trade in Patagonia. Most people don't visit here, as I was repeatedly told at the tourist centre. The TOURIST OFFICE told me to go to Calafate instead. When I
explained I had already paid for my hotel they gave me a map of museums and points of interest. All of which I attempted to visit. They warned me to avoid certain areas because of dogs...I avoided those areas yet still encountered lots of dogs. Note...Rio Gallegos has lots of amazing food and war murals.
