We visited all the areas you showed in this video and it was lovely to relive the amazing moments we had in Tokyo. Thank you! And yes, we had our masks on. As visitors we wanted to respect the locals by following their example.

Please don't!!! covid has allowed the most extensive testing ever of facemasks and it's proven beyond ALL doubt that masks do not prevent in anyway the spread of coldsz viruses or Covid if anything they make it worse as your mask gets contaminated easily and you're breathing those germs in the whole day. Even the N95s do nothing not even the slightest bit. Also masks can harbour fungi and other moulds and mildew. STOP

Thank you for such a nice video. I totally understand the social pressure issue! I’m currently on a business trip in Australia and no one is wearing masks. The weird thing is that the students who I am chaperoning were all wondering if they should wear masks because no one is, so we told them it’s up to them. So maybe because of social pressure, no one is wearing masks anymore! I wonder how it will be when we all return to Japan later this week?! So many people everywhere - Tokyo again fully packed. The masks are popular as usual and its OK. Dear Rion - as for claw machines you are either unlucky or it's the "policy" of the machin owners that one might win only after numerous tries. Your lunch seemed really jummy and a lot. As there is Sakura time I would not wonder if the town gets even more crowded. Let's keep walking!

What an informative and yet entertaining video. I am coming to Japan in May and this video was super helpful to give me hints about the proximity of various places in Tokyo and how to get there. I am curious how I'll feel about wearing or not wearing a mask. Honestly I didn't wear a mask since 2021 and even in 2021 I wore it only at public transport and museums because it was not compulsory to wear it anywhere else. Social pressure doesn't work for me but the respect for others will probably kick in once in a while.

its interesting the mask culture in japan vs here in america, i prefer not to wear the mask but i want to be respectful so will do so as long as most of japan continues to as well 🙏 peer pressure also plays a part in that i agree with you on that one 😅😆
