Really helpful video's for travelers. Especially the Japanese words lessons, price notifications and the temperature. These small but important things makes your video's better than others.

Really enjoyed our Kawagoe visit. They had non-electric city bikes @$2/30mins that allowed us to cover the whole place efficiently. Got a Bell Tower Cookie next to the tower "interesting" 😊 A very do-able and comfortable day trip from Tokyo not to be missed. Notably, a pleasant absence of caucasian gaigin (like us) 🤣 on the streets on your walk 🧐 Great walk Rion as usual 👍 "Let's be learning together, and let's keep walking" ☝️👑

Kawagoe was part of our tour last November. It was the last place that our group visited after we went to Oishi Park and Oshino Hokkai. Kawagoe was a lovely place. My favorite parts were the Starbucks with the Edo-style shop and the Miffy Shop and Bakery.

I remember your earlier video from Kawagoe 3 years ago. There was less people and traffic because of pandemic. The atmosphere of the old tradional part, little Edo, has not changed. It is charming indeed, especially the wooden architecture as a whole. The shrines are also interesting and unique, especially the path with feet challenge. There is also a money washing spot closer from Tokyo than Kanagawa. It is obviously popular weekend destination for the locals to enjoy the special food. Anyhow nice place to visit if the wearher is fine. By the way your new hairstyle fits you perfectly, as well. Longer hair is suitable for still colder days, too. I like both ume and sakura and it is hard to distinguish from afar. The warmer days are to follow with more and more blooming trees. Let's enjoy the spring!

Haven't heard of this area before prior to this video. Thanks for the update. I really enjoyed the walk! The most interesting to me is the sweet potato vending machine. Looks so yummy! To be honest, as a longtime viewer (almost three years), I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy this video cuz I didn’t think much had changed since your first one about Kawagoe (Ep. 306), which I absolutely loved with the furin festival in the summer. 🎐 Phew, glad I was wrong. This video didn’t disappoint at all. Sure, the main attractions are pretty much the same, but I delighted in seeing the many small changes, from new walking paths, new snacks, new stores, and new tidbits about yourself (I was wondering what color was your randoseru 🤓). Plus, it definitely is different seeing the town post-pandemic and in a different season. Thank you for another adventure in Japan! ✨ P.S. Not sure about this “Trunks” style. 🤔 It might “grow” on me. Maybe you can show us how the “Goku” one looked on you. 😆
