A top laner can go 15-0 and you'd still lose the game because of how shit top lane champions are, plus the role is not impactful at all. Instead it's much better to play for bot and let them carry. They have the strongest champions as of now (Zeri, Renata, Kai'sa, Leona, Nautilus, Lulu, Janna, Vayne) and we are on a bot lane meta, were bot diff = win game, so yeah there's that.

And, if u're playing aggainst a good jungler ur top gank gets matched with a bot gank that if successful almost always translates into loss of tempo and subsequent loss of drakes.
