Its literally not good patch especially for toplaners .. reminder they wanted to nerf tp again this patch too but they pulled. The sunfire nerf did nothing. Diana still S+ with it and tanks need a lot of hp to make it work they dont even build it anymore. Renata was S tier for months and all they nerfed is this. Bad patch

I'm liking the big patches this season versus the last few seasons. It's like they figured out, when you have too much damage, don't just add heals/shields or damage to tank items, just nerf damage. It's like they're going back and fixing the broken shit they had to add to make the damage balanced.

that seems like a good idea but what would it replace? prowler's claw -> ghostblade is essential for the move speed and baus has said that ldr has really good stats and usually always builds it, + youd still need more crit for infinity edge to work, so itd end up being the last item when the game's probably long over, right? or im just an idiot

Solo Q and normal skill games last way longer thus increasing the effectiveness of scaling items such as tear. The higher rank you, the less games last thus the less effective those items. I am personally very much not a fan of tear or tear items (most are not worth it, manamune is overpowered).

I believe that sunfire should have been nerfed but the changes were pretty drastic, especially considering how this new strategy only started being experimented with pretty recently. I also believe that damage scaling with defensive stats (ex: health) is quite weird, and I definitely would not increase its scaling like that. Change I would have made to it if I were in charge of balancing: Base damage changed from 12-30 to 7 - 25.

I disprove of your playstyle. If you are really having mana issues, a frozen heart is all what one really needs to solve all of them. Other than that, you end up getting a lot of mana simply from levelling up, making mana issues less relevant

the problem is that sion has 3k health with infinity edge regards and other damaging items. by the time youve focused him hes already in shredding

They increased his health stacking to a ridiculous point quite frankly and it ends up not mattering that much due to insane damage scaling in the game. Personally, I would atleast reduce the scaling of it as I am very much not a fan of infinite scaling as a mechanic in a PvP game

tbh it kinda feels like mana crystal is just better than corrupting pot for mana. corrupting pot is 225 mana each back for 500g (sure you get 300 hp and some dmg too, but it can only be sold) and mana crystal is 350 g for 250 mana, that doesnt need to be sold- can be upgraded into frozen for example, doesnt slow your item progress too. mana crystal instead of corrupting is kinda like another cull, greedy but pays off in the long run
