LMAO Necrit made it sound so wierd when he said azir want's to remove slavery from the empire as a surprise 😂. What he was saying was that azir was saving the announcement of ending slavery after his ascension ceremony as a surprise gift to his best friend xerath, who is born a slave. But xerath killed him before he did lmao

Yeah, and as far as I remember most of the upper class supported slavery as it benefitted them. So Azir removing slavery post ascension means no one can contest him. He would be far too powerful

@@poopernoodle If I remember correctly it was also a "surprise" because he couldn't remove slavery since powerful people liked having slaves. But once Azir ascended he was too strong and no one can oppose his decisions. So the 'end slavery' was also meant as a surprise to those who wanted slavery but can't stop Azir now.

Ryze is definatly up there when it comes to the most powerful mages and it wouldent really be wrong in saying that he is the most powerful mage. Ryze knows how to fully use the rune shards and its magic that nearly destroyed the entire continent, but Ryze is purpusly limiting himself becouse he is afraid that if he were to start to use this magic he could destroy everything even if hes intentions were good. Necrit have a video were he ranks each champion according to there lore powers and dear god some of these are world breaking events just waiting to happen. Even some of the dudes in the middle of the list is like omg how have humanity survived this long.

I was thinking of special Darkin weapons. When you equip the weapon, it tracks a corruption bar. When the corruption is maxed out, you turn into a Darkin, gaining massive boosts in stats for a short period of time until you resist their influence, afterwards you gain debuffs for a period

that would be cool but Darkin are too powerful cuz 1 darkin can slay an entire army on his own. But that Idea could be used in a different Class/Weapon which isnt as powerful.

Saying "Why is Xerath a bad guy" is almost like saying "Why was Hitler a bad guy." Both did what they thought was right, but twisted it into something horrible. Xerath was pissed about the slavery in the empire, thinking Azir had no intention of freeing them. And so he sought power to break his own chains and take the ultimate vengeance against Azir by betraying him and destroying his empire. Hitler, still being a nationalist before he joined the Nazi party, was pissed about what happened to Germany and Austria after WW1 like pretty much every German and Austrian. Thus he sought to take vengeance and do what he thought was right for him (at least) and his people. Ultimately it spiraled out of control and ofc we know what happened next. It was all a downward spiral for both. Ofc, dont forget i said it was almost like saying that, but not quite.

I think Azir surprising the abolition of slavery would make more sense since he becomes a literal demi-god after his ascension by the sun disk, no one would really oppose him after that.

Kindred id the most powerfull champ of the game, they're literally the grim reaper, even at one point Aurelion Sol being the second most powerfull being has to meet them

They arent the grim reaper. They are just a spirit of death and I wouldnt even count them when making a power ranking because their power is to limited and has to many rules. They cant kill anyone they just take the souls of the dead so no they cant kill anyone even the weakest champions and they are limited to Runterra. They can also die if people stop beliving in them and forget them. Aurelion sol, Bard and so on are more ancient and in terms of raw power Aurelion sol is the udisputed numer 1. Aurelion has an army of celestial dragons and his own celestial beings that he himself created. Aurelion sol isnt dying anytime soon and if he would destroy Runterra Kindred would go with it.

People forget that Kindred is the manifestation of death in Runeterra only, and that means they don't really apply to celestial beings and creatures from outside that world. Aurelion, Bard and many others are far more powerful than Kindred, and probably unaffected by their rules

LOR is definately worth trying, the effort that the dev team put into it is evident despite the amount of attention it recieved from the public. Plus, there is a pve mode that is new-comer friendly.

kindred isn't the most powerful champion, kindred is but the spirit god of death and celestials don't die, although there's a celestial being that embodies the idea that everything has to end at some point, the most powerful champion would be Bard and Asol

Aurelion sol is the most powerful champion. After him is Fiddlesticks, Bard and Zoe and so on. Kindred isnt the death itself but a spirit of death it got explained in LoR and there are more beings like her.

Xerath's modern story has always been a bit... _messy_ when it comes to the slavery angle. On one hand, yep, he's definitely doing some terrible things to people, but on the other, his 'good friend' the Emperor spent literal years talking a big game about emancipation and then did nothing because he apparently figured 'gifting' it to Xerath on the day of his Ascension was worth allowing people to continue to suffer? And now Xerath, literally a being born of attempting to usurp a corrupt ruler in order to end the slavery of his people... emerges into a slave-less modern Shurima and immediately begins conquering things and shackling others to his will. There's some really cool twists and wrinkles to the plot, but also a lot of things that really brush aside how horrifying slavery is on its face.

Well that is not the full part. Azir also knew, that if he would try to stop Slavery instantly, his own people in Power would rebel against him and cause a huge Civil War. That is why he waited until his own Ascention, since then he himself would have the Power to ensure, that he could end Slavery. The only stupid thing Azir did, was keeping it a Secret from Xerath for no good reason. But even dumber was Xerath, killing Azir AFTER Azir said that Slavery was a thing of the past. Yes Xerath did get it way later than he thought, but Azir kept his promise in the end.

@@NerieI Xerath was not stupid to kill Azir(he was sad when doing it), as Necrit says he had done too many atrocious acts in the name of his quest for freedom to stop now that he could free himself by force and power. Also he slowly became ambitious, twisted and corrupt, but after ascending is when he loses a part of his humanity (all ascended lose a part of his humanity) and becomes a "villain" that only seeks power.

We need to understand too that since Azir was a child, Slavery is pretty normalized. Im not sure how much he is exposed to the slavery stuff, Necrit said he is a good leader which could say he is treating the slave much better due to him befriending Xerath or it could just mean that Azir is pretty good leader for his man and that Xerath was the exception. From what I can see they seem to be pretty close and Xerath could tell him his intention of freeing slavery and Azir just wanted to give this when the big day happened.
