Great editing job with this video... Of course both things are epic ! Fire down under LP and Live at my Father's place. Putting it together really shows how amazing all members are. Not just Guy and Mark but everyone.... I was in Hollywood at this time working the Sunset strip Live sound for Steeler, Armored Saint, Black N Blue, etc.... Believe me , all bands including RATT were glad that RIOT stayed on the East Coast and then got signed and toured.... There is a "Toughness" with East Coast bands going back to the 70's that is undeniable.... Guy Speranza maybe underrated only because such a short tenure... Awesome !!

I discovered Riot in a record store by accident, it was a promotional copy, and I took it home out of curiosity it was fire down under I was blown away What an incredible album what is incredible band ,and what a shame they didn’t reach the heights that they should have . In my opinion They were just a Phenomenal band that never got their due

I will never understand how this band did not make it huge. They should have been headlining shows in arenas and stadiums all around the world. Their music is that amazing to me. I love all their eras. In my opinion they are all phenomenal. Riot Down Under and Thundersteel are my favorites, but I love them all.

obvious overdubs on vocals and lead tracks, but that does not take away from this one hell of a solid hard rock band. I remember all of the badass songs that the different line ups compiled, I miss Mark Reale he passed way to soon. I ranked them very highly, along with Y and T, Triumph, Nutz, Dirty Tricks , etc..

Riot is one of those bands I never get tired listening to whether it was Guy or Rhett singing. And I wonder why they never got any bigger. Some say it was the fucked up music business, too many crooks worked for them and a lot of bands got shafted somehow. Riot certainly had the fan base, everybody I knew listened to them. Anyway I play those first couple of albums quite often. Good rock & roll never dies.

Remember seeing them at the first Donington Monsters of Rock '80. Playing Road racing in the middle of the race track...awesome. The Warriors was my favourite movie at the time always thought this band had that same street fighter edge. Then later I heard Fire down under album, what a great bunch of rockers! Shouldn't listen to 'Swords and Tequila' on the bike🏍🏍🏍🎸 get to places too quick.
