I bought some sb dunks earlier this year and the swoosh came off pretty easy when I got into heelflips. I ended up finding out that this double swoosh comes unstitched much sooner than a normal 1 layer one. It doesn't really affect anything anyway. These look okay, I dig 'em but I would probably skate them tbh if I ever bought these.

i think that's cause the double swoosh models are meant to kind of remove them over time or to wear them off so they kind of do fall off a bit easier but maybe also because they stick out a bit more due to that lip of the leather grabbing the board.

Yeah, I don't want it to always do it, but then I didn't even notice the flapping swoosh when skating them. I skated the brown colorway from earlier this year. I'm skating the triple black pair now, and you can tell the stitches press in on the material and secure it much more than the double swoosh. I'd say with the double swoosh, besides doubling up the material, also it's because the glossy material under it is much stiffer (compared to suede) and more taut so the threads sit on the surface a lot more... much easier to rip. It comes off the side of the shoe but is held on by the back tab, and both pieces of the double swoosh do stick together as one. Mine sort of curls outwards and back towards the heel on the left-foot shoe haha
