the huge thing about new statikk shiv is that the dmg and the amount of targets hit will escalate with your level not just with your ap, making it an item really good in all the stages of a match no matter the investment

People also underestimate how insane it is to one shot a wave without using spells or with auto +1 spell you're always earlier on every skirmish because you push> roam faster you're less vulnerable to gank because you're just never walking up to farm a wave for 5/10 seconds you can catch several lane's waves if necessary get assists for free in teamfights there's so many upsides its so damn fun to play

I feel like its kinda ass, because the components suck. And you want the liandries rush for mana and damage. Rushing this makes your boxdamage lackluster af compared to having both liandries + demonic.

It is good for waveclear but since all your main damage as ap is dependant on having ap, it feels really bad to set yourself back 3k gold just to be able to clear faster. Even if you do the nightharvester lichbane build, I think that pales in comparison to just doing the liandries route with full ap.

Faker definitely fucked up though not rushing the noonquiver instead getting shard first. The noonquiver gives you great clear when combined with W before you even get shiv.

yes but shard is much better for trades mid trades are usually short and 60 flat magic damage on hit is insanely high early

However, I still feel the extra wave clear early is so fucking strong, particularly on Leblanc. those early roams are game-breaking. Also, while not an issue for someone of Fakers skill, it's just easier to farm in general which helps when the whole point of the build is getting shiv as quickly as possible, pushing waves, and moving around the map.

that's prob what they will do because riot refuses to just nerf items on specific champions. Like if ezreal uses X item to well instead of nerfing the item so that nobody can use it they could just nerf that item on ezreal and yet everytime they just nerf the item to oblivion. Same with like akali and vlad if they use like say hextech gunblade to well and the item has to be nerfed so that the other intended mages it was made for can't use it then why not just nerf it on akali and vlad and then allow it to be buffed on the other champions.

Oneshotting a wave with an auto + 1 ability even before it arrives to the lane is pretty op since you can instantly look for skirmishes and be active on the map

@@brosaus people seem to really not understand tempo or the fact the item basically guarentees that you can scale to several more items as you one shot the wave and then roam and the enemy has to play back or if the enemy leaves you alone in a lane then you instantly hitting the turret. Also a lot of champions have to choose to waveclear or harrass and with this item they just oneshot the wave then harrass you under the tower when a lot of these champions would have much more trouble harrassing because the minions would normally block the spells and say for ap ezreal it straight up removes a huge weakness that ap ezreal normally can't waveclear for shit and needs 2-3 items before his damage starts popping off.

@@Name-nq7tj yep exactly on point. That's why it's super good on Katarina right now. She usually has bad matchups early game but what she excels in is roaming non stop. Now she she one shots a wave with auto + q and within 5 seconds her full kit is up to get a triple kill at dragon before enemy mid is able to move at all.

As OTP AD LB i can say this isn't best passsive for this item, if they would rework it and give me back passive dmg on statik with crit or ad it would be better. Was funny for me to watch how even faker doing so much misstakes with his champ bcs it's not his playstyle, actually it's very hard to switch from spells only dmg to spells and aa.
