When they tried to enter Catholic areas in Belfast, residents turned them away, so they went to the loyalist Sandy row area and burned out businesses owned by a Syrian and a Sudanese family. The loyalists included people like Glen Kane who did jail time for kicking a Catholic man to death during previous rioting, and the Coolock guys are the most despised people in Ireland, led by Joe O'Reilly who is widely reported as having done time for molesting his own kids. SERIOUSLY do not judge the North of Ireland by the rest of the UK - you need to know what's happening on the ground here.
