Just remember Youngblood, for us growing up there was no internet. So when listening to music there was no way to just look up the lingo or check a forum to find out what some new slang on a track meant. If you weren't from the area the artist was from then you had to try and piece that shit together from context via other tracks and from artists who also repped their area. You looked mad lame turning up to school or a party and fucked up slang 😅 It may seem crazy now cos all that slang is now commonplace but Ebonics was groundbreaking. A street dictionary set to a killer beat. Love to see you showin Big Lamont Coleman some love, Youngblood. Peace 🙏
