If you fly a biplane at the speed of an acro, that's what you get... there were other two opportunities on this video when the wing was forced and didn't snap, it was only a matter of time...

How old was this biplane? How many hours of flight? A balsa wood structure becomes very fragile as it ages, this type of stunt you can easily do with a biplane

I thought so too, at 1st.... but even if flown fast, if you build a plane that can take it, the wings wouldn't fold undet 2 gs of force like this one did...

i flew in a real tigermoth today and the pilot did a loop just like that just without the crashing bit

I am thinking of building one of these. I see the wings are not one piece. Was that the reason for the failure? Was it acrobatic okay? Loops and rolls ? I’m concerned to build one of the wings are going to fold on a loop

It’s not the age or structure of the airplane ✈️. It’s the pilot 👨‍✈️ acting like he’s Tom Cruise on Top Gun flying a Biplane. Biplane are slow flying Classic Airplanes. It’s like flying Harley Davidson in the Sky 🌌

meine Rede - bei solch dynamischem Kunstflug sind andre Modelle wesentlich besser geeignet, die Motte sollte mit mehr Stil - sprich weniger Tempo - bewegt werden aber das sah man schon beim Start, viiiiel zu viel Power....
