It is bittersweet beacuse its like we are left alone by one of God true leaders in this broken world and specially now when we needed him most. We must trust God's plan it will just be for a little. What a blessed hope and comfort to know that this earth is not our permanent home. I'm writing this now with tears in my eyes and sorrow in my heart. I watched and listened to his sermons almost every day. Yet another bright light taken away from us in an ever-darkening world. His words were a comfort and a guiding light for me. I can't begin to tell you how many times he saved my life in so many ways. His crown of glory in heaven will be immense. Just as his love for Jesus............

He was such a clear and concise Bible teacher. You could understand everything he taught. I grew as a Christian listening to him on TV and ordering his books. His books on wisdom was so awesome. I gave them to my children . God certainly raised him up and anointed him to do exactly what he did. May we all heed his wonderful truths.

I was in the Church for over 50 years thinking I was saved, when I absolutely wasn't. On Judgement Day I would have been saying Lord, Lord, ( Matt 7:22). God was never impressed with any of my Religious Acts: I thought I put all my faith in Jesus Christ who died for my sins, because I said The Sinner's Prayer, I got Baptized, I went to Church 2-3 times a week, I Fasted, I Read my Bible Daily, I tried to Obey it, I Prayed, I Care for the Widows, the Homeless, and those in Prison, I Tithed, I Fought for the Unborn, I did an overseas Mission trip, I Observed the Sabbath, I Disciplined New Believers, I visited Israel, I Evangelized on the street, etc... Yes, I should have been doing all of those great things, but not because I Had To out of a Religious Obligation to try and earn my way into Heaven, by offsetting my Good from my Bad. I needed to Examine myself to see if I was truly in the faith according to scripture. My Pastor told me every week that I was saved in my sin, but God will judge even my Thoughts as well as my actions. I Wanted to serve Jesus through a Fully Surrendered heart, but I could NOT as long as I was being a Total HYPOCRITE by Willfully sinning everyday while away from the church. I almost committed suicide 5.5 years ago, because I had been tormented by Demonic voices from age of 6-50. I had multiple personalities after being kidnapped for sex trafficking. God shows No favoritism, so He won't grade on a scale. It was never okay for me to sin even once, simply because so Many people had sinned against me. ~I found out that IT ONLY TAKES ONE DAY TO LISTEN TO THE N.T. BIBLE. Then The Truth set me Free when I read everything in context!!! I came across a single verse that Scared the Hell right out of me, and I suddenly knew that I was going to Hell. I Stopped making excuses and then my Victim Mentality instantly died when I read and understood 1ST JOHN 3:9-10: 9. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them, they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10. This is how we KNOW who the children of God are and who the children of the Devil are!!! ~I realized that if I'm not willing to live 100% for Jesus Now, why would God ever let me live with Jesus Forever? ~On Aug 10th, 2017 I finally surrendered my entire heart, mind, soul and strength to the Lord. Jesus Completely HEALED my Mind, Body, Soul, and Spirit, by setting me free from ALL: adultery, alcohol, anger, arguing, arrogance, backsliding, bitterness, blasphemy, boastfulness, cheating, complaining, coveting, criticizing, depression, discrimination, disobedience, drugs, drunkenness, envy, evil, fear, gluttony, gossip, greed, grumbling, hatred, haughtiness, homosexuality, impurity, insecurity, jealousy, legalism, lustful thoughts/actions, lying, loneliness, materialism, multiple personalities, not keeping the sabbath, occultic practices, pornography, pride, quarreling, rejection, shame, secret sins, self harm, Selfishness, Sexual sin, slander, suicidal thoughts, stealing, stress, theft, unforgiveness, unfruitful, unrepentant, using God's name in vain, worldly entertainment, worry, worshiping other gods, yoga, etc. ~ I literally listed out every sin that I could think of, I read Ephesians 6:10-18, and I asked God to replace each one with Compassion, Holiness, Purity, Righteousness, Truth, The Fruit of the Spirit, etc... It was like a 45 minute Deliverance, but without any of the drama. Now I can't think of one sin that I'm willing to go to Hell for. Every temptation was gone. I cut about 300 people out of my life including family, that refuse to believe what the Bible actually says. Go and Sin NO More. 1 Cor 5:11 says I must not associate with Anyone who claims to be a brother or sister, but still sins. Do not even eat with such people. I wasn't willing to risk falling back into sin, because my boss yells, screams, and cusses, so I knew that in order for me to be found as a Wise Virgin, I needed to quit my job, and live off of my 401K, so that I can just read my Bible all day, pray and evangelize in those LAST DAYS!!

He remains my favorite televangelist. I think he was really sincere in his desire to save souls. Most of the rest, well, suffice it to say, I think we’re more concerned with being famous and prosperous. Dr. Stanley was not flashy; he was simply about the Scriptures and applying The Word to our lives. He did not compromise the Biblical truth to be popular with the world and pop cultural. That’s what I liked most about him. I looked forward to hearing him every morning. He always started my day with a sobering and uplifting dosage of God’s word to remind me to keep my eyes on God throughout the day…to just OBEY GOD AND LEAVE THE CONSEQUENCES TO GOD. I stopped listening to him for a while when my radio was broken. It’s time to get another radio and listen to Dr. Stanley everyday - especially now. Our society has really gone off the deep end and I feel like a lot of churches are caving in to the wrong narratives and ideology in search of numbers. The attack on the church is full on. Thank God for the body of work Dr. Stanley left behind. Thank you Jesus for this man of God. He was instrumental in saving a lot of souls. Rest in heavenly peace , Dr. Stanley. You were a faithful servant.
