This was a total breakdown in security by the Secret Service and the law enforcement who were present. When I worked near the airport and the President - pick one - was coming into town, every building within half a mile had a sharpshooter on it from the early morning until after the president's plane was gone. For the Secret Service to allow a building within less than 150 yards to be unprotected is negligent basically criminal. When civilians tell law enforcement that they saw this kid climbing with a visible rifle, and nobody did sh*t? Criminal. When Reagan was shot, they literally threw him in the car and took off. In Butler, they let Mr. Trump get his shoes, and then they allowed him to poke his head up and be exposed to any other shooter that might have been around. They used an agent who was 5'6" to try and protect a man who is 6'3" tall. I appreciate the picture of Mr. Trump in front of the flag with a raised fist, but that is totally against Secret Service protocol. He should have been in that limo and gone within seconds - not minutes. Even if no one else is held accountable for this fiasco, the head of the Secret Service must be fired. The breakdown of security is now and will continue to foster conspiracy theories ad nauseum, and right now, I'm not sure they're entirely incorrect. Security experts have weighed in that the shooter must have had help somewhere. That may be true, but crazies also have a way of making their own luck. My best guess is that this kid is going to be tagged as a "lone gunman" and we will never learn if there was involvement elsewhere. We are going to be fed the prevailing line of whatever protective crap they decide we'll accept and obfuscate everything else. RIP Corey. Prayers for the others wounded, both in body and in spirit, God Bless America.

Trump seems like he is the same way as well as not sugar coating the truth he is straight with his facts. I do see a sensitive, caring, loving man beneath all the fight he has in him. He respects and loves our great country and the American people that call it home. For someone that can easily ignore what's happening in our government spending his retirement days anywhere he wants, watching his grandchildren grow up, seeing his youngest son begin his journey in life, and growing old with his beautiful wife instead he chooses to let the bad in this country criticize him and his family, impeach him, rade his home and privacy on national television, indict him, try to kill any and all of his businesses, bankrupt him, convict him as a felon, and since none of that has stopped him from fighting now they have tried to kill him and he still stands tall and strong all out of the pure love and respect he has for the United States of America and We the People. If that isn't a 110% true fight til I die patriot then I don't know what is! How can anyone say that this man is doing what he has done and been through the last 8 years for the wrong reasons and for himself is beyond my understanding! God has this man doing exactly what he put him on this earth to do that's to bring this country back to its morals and foundation it was built upon and if anyone can't see that then go watch his attempted assassination video again. That is proof that God was with President Trump on that stage and the moment that gunman pulled the trigger he placed his hand on President Trump to hold his head out of the way of that bullet! Trump stood up immediately and screamed to fight. He didn't know if there were more shooters. He stood anyway. The donations for his family are over 3.7 million in a few days.
