Alright, FAQ cuz the video blew up overnight: - “My GC is fine and I’m IOS pfft such fake news” Not everyone has your luck Shannon, the optimisation update (being the last update) screwed over half IOS’ users’ GC’s, which include: - Random Crashes - Inability to save OCs and progress once exiting the app - Exportation of OCs being unusable - Interactive Bar (for IPhone 11 and above devices) not leaving the screen And the list goes on… It might not be needed for you, but that “fixing update” was hella needed for others - “What happened?” According to the higher staff team of GL2 (for which I volunteered for) the game is “beyond repair” despite attempts to fix it, with no other precisions - “Is GC gonna be removed from App Store?” Where did I say that? Of course not! If you download GC now just warning you, you have a 50% chance to have it all buggy and messy That’s all, will update if needed

The last ChibiMation Alpha build support IOS 13+, that's the lowest what Unity 6 support, so it will have backwards compatibility, and as I know we will keep this version support. It's running well on TestFlight on a lot of different iPhones, included on my test device (SE 2022). For Android as I remember (currently I'm on a trip) Android 6.0+ and opengl es 3.0+ are the requirements, but also it's a Unity game, so higher recommended. It's 2024, so I don't think it's a big problem if a 2015-2016 (8-9 years old) cheap-middle android phones can't run it. More features always cost more performance resources and storage.

Even I make backups of my projects, it’s basic practice for game devs It’s not difficult to revert back to previous states if you’re familiar with version control systems (like Git) This is very disappointing from such a large publisher, I would expect better from someone who’s been developing apps for so many years now but oh well

@@noxula_ absolutely. i’m not even a game dev and i like to try and make extra copies of my art projects or writing in some form. if it can’t be a physical copy then i usually make a digital one. it’s important to make at least a few backups for the files of a game so that way in case if one is corrupted or flat out disappears, you have others to work with instead of having to rebuild the game from scratch.

yeah, it does suck that gacha club doesn’t automatically save characters anymore along with other glitches, BUT i found a way to force it to save my progress! so basically what i do is go into the studio, then exit the studio, then completely exit out of gacha club and open it back up and it saves any characters i made and it also saves anything i did in the studio which is nice if that didnt work then another thing you could try is click the “watch ad for free gems” button, completely exit out of the game, then open it back up. this trick doesn’t work for me but i remember seeing some ppl saying it worked for them hope this helps!

Yeah. I barely even use Gacha Life 2 for anything other than Character Design. I don't like making Videos with it due to not having Static Poses. It's Really A Pain To Make Custom Poses. im so late to this video but im an ios gc user and i have ways to get around some of the glitches!! to save your progress: make sure you watch an ad before closing the app. this can be by either playing a mini game OR going to the menu and clicking "return to home screen" to prompt an ad to appear. i usually swipe out the app tab right after i do this, and it saves every time! for exports: unfortunately i do not have a solution to exporting to other devices yet, but if you're someone like me who needs multiple copies of an oc for animating separate body parts etc, i have a solution for this! first make sure you have one default/unwanted oc that you don't mind replacing, as well as the oc you want to copy. put the unwanted character in one of the 10 main slots, and the oc to be copied in one of the backup slots. at the bottom of the screen next to the swap button, you'll see a button that says copy all, which you're going to click while selecting the default character. then just click the other oc that's in the backup slots, and there you have 2 copies of the oc! i hope this helpss

It starts with iOS because iOS wants to be its own all encompassing application. It’s very hard to convert things over into its form where as android it’s easier because it’s more like a computer and Google Beeston doesn’t have to be converted. The creator of Apple doesn’t care about its customers. He just wants to be different.

Mines on the tablet as been like that for a while, maybe a full year honestly, but I found a way to save OCs/Scenes (it works on mine, idk if it works on everyone) When you finish making the OCs and plan on closing the app go to made a random prop (whatever prop, I suggest ones that you can see the colours) and then you change the colours of it (can be only one colour or all, it doesn't mind which colour), then go over studio and put the prop on the display (even if you don't put it, it should work, but better safe and sorry) then go over the back and go to the background feature and try to change to colour, if it doesn't work, congratulations! You just saved everything before this moment! You just have to close it and re-open it (I found out this by accident😂) Helping the poor IOS users before they go crazy, a little (it doesn't take much time like it seems to take)

That’s true, but for the OC not saving, you can just make a character for a long period of time which is not recommended but clicking the ads is recommended and then closing the whole entire app for Gacha Club then reopening Gacha Club

this is honestly super disappointing, and i mean ever since the very beginning (i mean since 2020, during gacha clubs release). you'd expect luni to have had backup files and scripts for the game-considering how long he's been a game dev, its basic fucking safety precautions as a creator of ANY type, artist, animator, game dev, music composer, you name it-to have backup files on deck with you. loosing the initial files, then messing up the ios files after that god awful update... its honestly disappointing. this doesnt even BEGIN to express my frustration with luni as a game dev... lucky for me, i was an ios user all this time, but recently moved to android, so it wont affect me so much-but it still pisses me off. way to go luni! you ruined another game of yours!

Just if anyone is confused what this means is that it doesn’t mean that you have to get a new phone. It just means you’re updates because older phones can’t go past 16 at the update log so you don’t have to get an iPhone 16 because the iPhone 16 is not out yet :) if any of you are confused, I hope this helps

We had to buy a new android phone once a year because it kept lagging. I used to have a oppo phone, but my dad got mad at me for not paying attention to him so he bend my phone into a curve-like shape, it was unrepairable too. I’ve been looking forward to Gacha Club being fixed since the update that broke it, and I do have GL2 but it’s so much harder to use. Luckily I’ve been slowly learning how to get around some bugs even though it’s incredibly inconvenient, just a shame it can’t be fixed. There's a couple way's to be able to save in GC ; that being going in the studio mode to save ur progress before completely closing the app, me and some others found ways to make the game save

Hi!! IOS GC USER HERE! One of the owners in a gacha VA discord server shared this with me since I was making background characters with GC - it worked for me so maybe it’ll work for others! Basically just mess with a character a few times, go to options, use return to title 2-4 times, and close app while on the title screen! It worked to save my stuff. Import export issue I haven’t found a cure for, they’re just remaking the characters they want to add Interactive bars annoying but yeah

Us iOS users actually barely get anything. We got Gacha club LATE, now we can’t have Gacha club updates😂. Everyone else got mods and we had to wait for gl2, and some people STILL DONT HAVE GL2. its SO UNFAIR.

It is very sad that there’s no updates in Gacha Club as a KZbinr who was thinking about being a Gacha tuber in the future, I am still used to the Gacha Club bugs and I know how to fix it to save you progress (I will probably make a video abt that) till this day I still use Gacha Club and I am used to the bugs and used to saving OC data in Gacha. This is upsetting how there will be no more updates for Gacha Club but I joined Gacha in 2021, And I wasn’t too excited for all the updates, but it’s pretty upsetting for you guys who use Gacha Club because Gacha started somewhere back then in 2015 ( I am a IPad OS user and a IOS user ) but here’s how to fix saving your OC data in Gacha Club! FOR IOS USERS! If your OCS aren’t saving, try doing Mascot Whack, it doesn’t matter If you win or lose, just close the tab/page immediately after the round. And it saves your OC’S! But it might now work so before your exit, take SS of all your OC’S Colors,Adjustments ETC! I hope this helps!!❤❤

As an IOS user who is able to play Gacha Life 2 just fine, I am still able to use Gacha Club thanks to a random glitch I found. I remember explaining the steps on a community post you did a while back, Flo, but I wanna show everyone who might be able to use this glitch. Step 1: Go onto Gacha Club and change anything about your OC (you can create a new one, give them a different pose, anything). Step 2: Head into studio and place that OC anywhere in the studio. Step 3: Go onto save/load and save the background. Step 4: Do not exit the studio. Instead, turn off your device (with the power button) and go back in to Gacha Club. If you’re successful, then you would have been able to save your OC’s without worrying about them not saving. I don’t remember who was the original person who found this glitch, but I hope that this helps! (Note; this glitch only worked for my iPad only, I wasn’t able to do it with my phone, so it might only be able to do it if you have Gacha Club on the iPad).

It’s so sad Luckily most of the videos I upload are animations so I use a bodysheet and not gacha club too much. I can still (kind of) use gacha club, but if you make a new character it’s bordering on impossible to get it so save I feel sorry for the users that use gacha club for more than a bodysheet. It’s sad how the devs even allowed the app to get to this point, but maybe it was beyond repair before they could even do anything

So as a fellow Android user who's been using Gacha Club for a while, I've had the issue of characters not getting saved for ages now. 1- How to overcome it? Save a new scene before you leave each time OR 2- Go to objects, change the color of a random item, go to studio, click to change color of the background, than your screen should become ONLY the background selected and all icons should disappear. Rejoin the game and check if your progress has saved! Lmk if it works for you all.

Yeah, as an iOS user I was sad to leave it behind a couple weeks ago. But I think it was worth it because gacha life two has a lot of better things, and gacha club- for me- never saved. I’d have to constantly remake ocs. Gacha life 2 freezes sometimes but the saving is great.
