This is just so hard and heartbreaking. RIP Lee. My husband died in January, not by suicide, it was sudden cardiac arrest but to be honest people really don’t care about your mental health. Barely anyone checks in on me to see how I am doing and I know so many other widows whose best friends disappeared because they couldn’t handle it. This whole “mental health awareness” stuff is a big joke. In the end the only person that can save you, is you.

My husband passed 10 yrs ago and I know what you are writing was the same as I felt then. It took two years for me to really want to carry on. Due to grief and depression I felt I was floundering, out of my depth, my life looked bleak. One day going through some ads I found a no kill animal shelter in my area and decided to volunteer. It was the best idea I had for myself and I hope one day you'll find yours. This has truly helped me more than any therapy I had to date at that period of my life. I still volunteer, foster and have a few myself on my rescue farm. Those no one will love feel love here and live out their life in peace which has in turn brought me peace. Please hold on, take time for yourself and your grief. People are afraid of grief for they know one day they will have it themselves so they run away thinking it will not happen to them. Try to forgive them, they are but the friendships that weave in and out of our lives. Some stay and some go yet each helps us learn something about ourselves. I am wishing you peace and blessings, I hope all the best for you. Know you are in my thoughts and meditations. Take care of yourself. A fellow mourner. R.I.P for your husband and for Lee.

"No man is an island"... we all NEED other humans to survive; hence why solitary confinement drives every human mad... It's not entirely true that only you can save you; It's actually situational. If you have cancer you need others to help save you... Similarly when your mind is ill with depression you need other people PLUS yourself to help you through. Sometimes other people are the ones who give you a reason to keep living and not succumb to your inner demons. I am speaking from experience, people can be the deciding factor/ inspiration for whether you choose to end it or continue living.

It is incredibly heartbreaking to see how depression takes hold and doesn't leg go regardless of who you are, or where you are in your life. Lee was stunningly a natural beauty in every sense. I think being out there is social media makes it worst and put unnecessary pressure on someone who is already vulnerable. On the outside, she is gorgeous, healthy, and have a life style only few can imagine, but that is what is dangerous. I would have recommended to her to move on, make a new life outside social media first before coming back to it.

Are you familiar with a lady named Lee Macmillian (her vlog on KZbin was called "Max & Lee)She & her boyfriend split up after RV traveling full-time for quite a while! They each created separate new vlogs & lee was constantly receiving hate comments from people! Lee took it very personally & ended up committing suicide as a result. There was one person in particular that always sent her hateful comments! That person actually has made money on his KZbin videos from picking on particular people who have created vlogs! I don't want you to end up like Lee. She was actually well liked by many people & her Dea†h had an effect øffect on most of her followers that loved her!
