A lovely reflection on his life and work, although the music at times is mixed too loudly over the narration and dialogues. It’s especially noticeable at 5:05 and 6:10

@@THEMODELGENE Exactly. He was one of the pioneers of using such geometric pleating in regards to garment construction . Also he took account of the movement of the garment when choosing the directions of the pleating and construction as well. Not to mention the nature inspiration.

Agree, I live in Paris, France, was searching to buy one obis man creations, but I couldn't find them anywhere! They are experimental design for me, as this great artist was constantly innovating with new materials, amazing work! His fragrances he developed are 'Eau d'Issey' Wich pronounced in French gives ODISSEY, guess not a coincidence! He did it for women, then for men. Sorry for correcting you, but they are eau de toilette, not cologne. He allowed a french company to decline the initial iconic masterpiece. There are some good ones, but advice: before buying, try any fragrances on your skin , on the forearm, at the base of the wrist and at elbow level. Let them breathe, without touching them. Hope this message will be somehow helpful! Best regards!
