RIP Jens Werner

It is with great sadness that we learned about Jens Werner's passing. We shared many joyful moments together, and he was an exceptional dancer. During that time, many couples, including Jens and Charlotte, were living in London, frequently traveling together abroad. Those were truly special times, as we formed strong friendships that felt like family. This video captures those moments beautifully. Jens's passing is particularly heartbreaking. I will always remember the unforgettable moment when Jens and Paul spontaneously danced a Rumba as a tribute. It was unplanned, and neither Charlotte nor I were aware of what was about to happen. The competition organizer had requested us to dance a Rumba while Jens and Charlotte danced a Slow Foxtrot simultaneously. However, Paul didn't feel the right vibe for the Rumba music, so we ended up just dancing basic steps. Jens seemed to have sensed this and improvised brilliantly, creating a memorable performance that delighted the audience. It's a cherished memory. Thank you, Jens, for bringing so much joy into our lives. Rest in peace, Jens. 🥹
