Activision is a scummy company. I wish the four studios and the community would boycott Activision's bullshit. They need to just let them do whatever they want with CoD. I know that will never happen, but I can hope. I've been playing since BLOPs, and I'm disappointed to see the franchise in this state. WW2 looks like shit, and I probably won't be picking up anymore CoD games in the future, unless everyone says it's really good, or they make Ghosts 2 or some shit. I will continue to rock MWR as long as I can get a full hardcore lobby. I love the game. I love the DLC content because it freshened up the game and I have had a lot of fun trying to unlock the new weapons with the supply drops. me and my kids are also stoked for the release of WWII on my XB1 and my kids PS4, we have preorders in for both. I cry I cry. Just like you, I had tons of amazing memories in CoD4. I was excited for this game. As I played it, memories came back to me. I was very happy throughout the year with MWR. The new weapons, supply drops, DLC (I didn’t buy it), camos, etc. weren’t enough to shake me from this game. I only keep in contact with 2 other people I played CoD4 with back in the day. They didn’t buy this. My current IRL friends that did buy it, didn’t understand my love for this game (they joined the bandwagon during MW2/BO1). I’m sad things turned out the way it did, but I had an amazing time. Hopefully, if MW2 Remastered comes out it doesn’t suffer the same fate.

I have 20-30 long-time shooter enthusiasts (COD, BF, HALO, etc) on my friends list....I was the ONLY person to buy IW (and I did it only because I had to in order to get MWR). MWR was R.I.P. after New Years. It’s only a game for people that played it 10 years ago. Uh.. MWR isn't "ended", it's a remake of a game from 2009 that still has people playing the original every day. People will still be playing this remastered version for years, it's better than ww2 by miles. The only downside to it is the p2p based networking.
