Not many people realize that OJ Simpson's real first name, Orenthal, is of mighty Celtic origin, and is said to mean “pine tree.” A competing etymology says it may be a variant of the Germanic name Orendel, meaning “morning star.” Either way, it's a word closely related to nature and the northern wilderness. Naming your boy Orenthal may instill in him a love of flora and fauna, such as the strangling vine and the black widower.

@@theomacer3094 that couldn't be so. OJ named his book *IF* I Did It... (and notice the *"IF"* there, if you please!) This means that he is admitting that he *didn't* kill his wife, but is willingly assuming the mind of a cold-blooded killer, and offering up a fully believable scenario in which he *did in fact* murder his beautiful bride, which could very much indeed be a great insight into how Nicole Brown Simpson's true murderer actually perpetrated this heinous act. ...and yet, the leftist commie *PINKO* asshole publishers at Beauford Books just so decided to be wise-guys and placed the "IF" in "If I Did It" in extremely small print (too small for most microscopes to read, in fact) to try to frame the brilliant all-American athlete Orenthal James "Orange Juice" Simpson of murdering his one and only beloved spouse, which ended up falsely cementing O.J.'s reputation as a deadly murderer forever 😢 Shameful and undignified, I'd say!!
