Who founded the manosphere and when?
@bli33663 ай бұрын
@@brianmeen2158 Can't really say that it was "founded".... Rather, I would argue that it is something that coalesced out of random encounters and many men who noticed a need and a lack of something all around the same time; as feminism had become mainstream and began its war on male-spaces and men's ability to be with each other and talk to each other without interference from women. These kinds of spaces have always existed in one form or another, but as they disappeared from real-life, they emerged on the internet. Men have always relied upon each other for wisdom, guidance, and sharing truths about reality. This is part of how society "just works". But as feminism came to dominate the landscape of the political ideas that control the world, they began to wage war on all the places that actually enforced these social rules, however informal they might've been.

Spetsnaz perfectly captured the eastern daoist mindset that western guys needed to hear. He gave us a perspective on human relations that wasn't wrapped up in resentment, romanticism or PUA "game". Sounds cheesy, but he taught me that there is a stillness behind my mind that exists beyond thinking with my dick, or projecting my idealism onto others. That I can sit still on a park bench with a coffee in my hand and just enjoy the quiet without needing to constantly strive for something.
