It's a strange feeling, this sense of loss regarding someone you've never met and whom lived halfway across the world. Yet he had such an impact on myself and many other men around the globe. I pray his voice carries on to help even more men throughout the coming years, yours as well, Stardusk. He shall be missed.

Who founded the manosphere and when?
@bli3366
@bli3366 3 ай бұрын
@@brianmeen2158 Can't really say that it was "founded".... Rather, I would argue that it is something that coalesced out of random encounters and many men who noticed a need and a lack of something all around the same time; as feminism had become mainstream and began its war on male-spaces and men's ability to be with each other and talk to each other without interference from women. These kinds of spaces have always existed in one form or another, but as they disappeared from real-life, they emerged on the internet. Men have always relied upon each other for wisdom, guidance, and sharing truths about reality. This is part of how society "just works". But as feminism came to dominate the landscape of the political ideas that control the world, they began to wage war on all the places that actually enforced these social rules, however informal they might've been.

Spetsnaz perfectly captured the eastern daoist mindset that western guys needed to hear. He gave us a perspective on human relations that wasn't wrapped up in resentment, romanticism or PUA "game". Sounds cheesy, but he taught me that there is a stillness behind my mind that exists beyond thinking with my dick, or projecting my idealism onto others. That I can sit still on a park bench with a coffee in my hand and just enjoy the quiet without needing to constantly strive for something.

There comes a point in your life where you have to take responsibility for the wrongs that you’re not responsible for. It’s your responsibility to heal all your past hurts and use that anger constructively. How has my interaction with women, prior to this point in my life helped me identify my goals or benefited me as a person? Feminism is a “fuck you” to your face. Traditionalism is a smile with a “fuck you” behind it. (Spetsnaz)

The best we can get of immorality is that our ideas made an impact. Spetsnaz has achieved that highest aspiration of a thinking species. His end was as dignified as any we get. He lived long enough to figure out most of the lies of our age but not so long that he had to endure the creeping death of old age and decrepitude. There's solace in that. RIP Spetsnaz, wherever you are. Maybe the next round won't be so exploitative of whoever or whatever you are. You did a man's job.
