Exactly…it doesn’t change the outcome. She passed. Period. Now I’m thinking it was most likely unexpected…but there’s a 1000 ways that could have happened. So that’s it. She’s gone too soon, which is tragic. And she’ll be missed by a whole lot of people. As for a memory, one that comes to mind is on AS7 during the Santa’s School for Girls, when she tries to say “Noëlle”, and Ru keeps laughing, so she tries hard to say her lines…for some reasons this image is imprinted in my mind…that and “collusion!”

Some people take too lightly the impact these queens have on some of our lives, especially to us living in conservative countries. So glad you did this as a Drag Race reviewer. As a UK resident, it’s amazing to see just how much of an impact our very first UK drag superstar has had, across the whole Drag Race fandom, across the globe. I don’t know if it’s known in the USA etc just how much The Vivienne appeared on our TV shows over here after her win. She really had done so much with her reign and built such a career after the show as a TV personality. Potentially the best we have seen of UK drag and may her memory rest in peace.

I met The Vivienne in 2019 when she was doing a show with Bob the Drag Queen, Jackie Beat, and Karen from Finance (what a line-up!). This was days before DRUK season 1 aired, and I knew instantly she was a superstar. During the pre-show meet & greet, I wanted to pass a message to Bob from my friend, who was a massive fan of hers and had to drop out at the last minute due to a family emergency, but the music was so loud that Bob suggested we chat somewhere more quiet. She put her arm around me and guided me towards the corner of the room. Mid-conversation, I felt someone pulling my hair, and they yelled “get your arse over here so we can take a photo! We haven’t got all bloody night!” 😂 It was The Vivienne 😂 I joked that she’d better win Drag Race UK so I could brag to everyone that she pulled my hair as my claim to fame, and of course she did! Thank you for this lovely tribute. I’d never seen that video before. It’s hilarious 😂 Liz looked like she was struggling to keep a straight face all the way through 😂

I’m still a bit numb from the shock of this news. I watched UK S1 & AS7 and I was excited to see her on All Stars. Her Donald Trump was amazing and the banter with Baga (as Margaret Thatcher) was a Snatch Game masterclass in and of itself. Her roast in AS7 as well as her improvs (Headmistress “Nutmeg” will be one of my all-time faves) were epic!! This video you reacted to was SOOOO hilarious!! The Vivienne will ALWAYS be remembered and may they rest in peace & power. 🥺😭😭🕊👼🏻💄 As for that “other” queen to whom I will NOT give the liberty of my fingers typing out “her” name: Karma’s got her number and she’s about ready to cash in. I was not expecting to load KZbin and see news like this. So sad to hear of her passing. I certainly plan to celebrate her life. Thanks for doing the same Val, and reacting to that Netflix video, it's one of my favorite Vivienne clips. As for Tyra, honestly at this point, I just can't rock with her anymore. She's been repugnant for a long time, and there's no amount of me sympathizing with her about the online bullying and racism she's received over the years that will ever justify her continued disgusting behavior. When Viv would tell a joke, you could see it in her eyes that she felt at home. When she was making people laugh, she was purely in her element, utterly at ease, not a single nerve in her body. You could SEE IT. Her dry little smirk is my favorite. Also, her MUG? FLAWLESS. Her lips are my favorite that I've ever seen. They always look so soft and rich and beautiful. I think Viv's Snatch Game from UK Season 1 is in the top 5 Snatch Games of all time. And her role in the Fairytale Justice challenge from All Stars! Both of those were comedic excellence. I will always love her and will always miss her. There's a hole in the heart of Drag Race where The Vivienne used to be.

The Viv was my intro to UK Drag through the US Season 8? Uk ambassador thing. Love the clip you reacted to.
