Haha that near-death experience happened to my tamagotchi too. I forgot about it while I was watching tv, doing my chores and stuff, then I was like “HECC MY TAMAGOTCHI!” And I rush to it and these little ghost things were attacking him and I was like freaking out and rushed to the med kit and he came out fine luckily. I was pretty confused because I thought on the meets they ran away like on some other color tamas, but I guess not.

There is unfortunately no way to pause it, but there are other options! The first location-- the Tama hotel-- has a hotel where you can leave your Tama for 10 Gotchipoints an hour! This is what I use daily from 7am to 6pm. If you don't pick your Tama up by 7pm, they will automatically go home. The second option is, on your second generation and beyond, you can leave your Tama at their parent's house as a baby sitter. If you don't pick your Tama up by I think 5pm from here, it will automatically go home.

You could also set the clock to 2hours before its bedtime. That way it will be sleeping while you are away for work

Lol I got my first tamagotchi on today and I’ve only been raising my tamagotchi for a day, and it got sick like two times already Btw I wanna point out that the death screen isn’t scary at all and I love it that way, like with the v1 it has the tone of a heart rate as your pet suffers while you can’t do anything to help it, and then it shows an angel (or headstone and a ghost for Japanese version) and tbh it’s pretty brutal. But tamagotchi 3 is worse, look it up.

With the Tamagotchi On, you can play it for as long as you want :) The machine/device will need new batteries every 2 to 3 weeks, but your game will be saved as you install new batteries. Every once in a while, a glitch will happen, but that is pretty rare.

Hi Jamie! Killing your Tama is an easy option to fix the Peter Pan. Yes, it will restart to gen 1, but you will get to keep unlocked locations. Some Tama collectors have tried messing with the clock to fix the glitch-- they turn the clock to 6:59am, put in completely new batteries, then start the Tama. They leave the time at 6:59, and wait a few hours... sometimes, the Tama grows up! I have never tried this, but I think it's totally worth a shot.

If you don’t health the toothache within a few minutes, it will count as a care miss. Use the med kit to heal it!

How old is your Tamagotchi? By a week, you Tama should be old enough to marry; after marriage, the new egg will become gen 2 and soon unlock the parents' house. The Tama On/Meets will not automatically move to gen 2 on its own.

I just got my tomagotchi Monday and it’s Sunday. I raised my pet happy and I think it was 5/6 years old and I had the sound on. I’m guessing it was it’s time :( I tried to the first aid and it wouldn’t let me I’m guessing 6/7 days it’s life span?

It should be able to live as long as you take care of it. Were you bringing it to the hotel when you were busy during the day?

Its the very last option at the hotel. I'd recommend leaving it there while you're busy; just keep in mind that its only open from 7am to 7pm, and you can only leave it once per day. If your device is at the tombstone screen, you can press A and C together to get a new egg. I'm sure your second time playing will go much better! You can do it!

Hey! I have a question for you about the Meets app. I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask but you helped me so much last time. Anyway my question is, I have set the profile on the app as a boy and gave it different clothes than the default setting. I then connected my Tama Meets and played some games and then recalled my Tama using the exit option with the Save (top option on the return screen). I know when you do this your app profile data is supposed to appear in the settings page of the Tama Meets but when I checked it, my avatar was female and wearing a dress. Re-checking the avatar in the app settings, it shows I’m still a male there wearing the clothes I had picked. Any reason why the Tama would display differently? Is there a way to make the avatar on the Tama resemble the avatar on the Meets App? Thanks!

Ohh. I figured it out. Hehe. I wish I could read Japanese, that would make it so much easier. But yeah I guess I had made a avatar/profile before ever connecting the Meets and that one didn’t count. When I had connected the Meets, it made a default girl profile and that’s the one that carried over to the Meets device when I disconnected. I’ve since changed it and my profile resembles the boy avatar now! Thanks for reading! :)
