Traci Renee Braxton was an American singer, reality Television personality and radio personality.
Traci Braxton suffered and died from cancer on March 12 2022 aged only 50.
She was one of the Braxton sisters and she appeared on their Braxton Family Values Reality TV show. Traci Braxton was married to Kevin Surrat senior and they shared a son named Kevin Jr.
Traci Braxton parents are Michael Braxton Sr and Evelyn Braxton. Traci Braxton sisters include Toni Braxton, Tamar Braxton and Towanda Braxton . Traci Braxton's cause of death was Cancer. Traci Braxton's funeral dates have not been revealed.
Braxton has an older brother, Michael Jr. (born in 1968), and four sisters, Toni (born in 1967), Towanda (born in 1973), Trina (born in 1974) and Tamar (born in 1977). Braxton and her siblings were raised in a strict religious household,and Braxton's first performing experience was singing in her church choir.Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar Braxton signed their first record deal with Arista Records in 1989. In 1990, they released their first single, "Good Life". It would be their only single as a fivesome. "Good Life" was not a hit, peaking at No. 79 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart. At the time of the single's release, the members' age differences created a problem with marketing. Subsequently, The Braxtons were dropped from Arista Records.
In 1991, during a showcase with Antonio "L.A." Reid and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, who were in the process of forming LaFace Records, Toni Braxton, minus her four sisters, was chosen and signed as the label's first female solo artist. At the time, the remaining members were told that LaFace was not looking for another girl group since it had just signed TLC.

Lost my grandma to cancer is 2010. Just lost my mom to heart disease in 2020. It’s coming up on 2 years April 2nd. Grief is such a difficult process. Some days are good and I’m ok and understand that she is no longer in any pain and other days feel like the day I lost her. Nothing prepares you for this pain. I pray that the Braxton family are able to come together and lean on one another in this difficult time. ❤️ RIP to such a sweet soul, Traci 💐

I feel for every Braxton but most of all my heart goes out to mama E....a piece is gone and no one or anything can make bring healing....when the sadness wants to take your body and mind over....pray to God....talk about your feelings....cry....I made many mistakes as a mom....but the worst in my grieving was that I didn't wantto cry....because the dear Lord left me with one more beautiful soul....my youngest son....I didn't want to cry out loud because I was afraid to upset him....don't be me mama E....cry for child....especially as a family.....Tracey loved each and everyone of her family with all their faults very dearly....God bless you all.

I lost my brother to lung cancer and I lost my sister to domestic violence. My only advice I know their pain of losing my siblings. It was the most painful experience I have endured in my life. I miss them terribly they were my support my strength. I felt so isolated since they departed earth. I know their are smiling down on me but I know they do not want me to continue to be sad because I will see them again one sweet day!!! God has given me the strength and courage to deal my grievance. She had 2 daughters pregnant at the same time & she never got the chance to see either of her grandchildren. She died of lung & liver cancer. But her & Traci are in a better place for God only takes the best to fill his heavenly garden.I know we would love to have them back. Yes we loved them but God loved them more & didn’t want them to suffer anymore.
