I worked the Daytona Beach Airport Checkpoint, and about once a week he would go though with his Son to his different shows. Very quiet and nice person. I remember watching him years ago on the Saturday night music shows. Eddie Money used to go through regularly too. Miss talking with him. RIP Gentlemen.

I grew up on this music as my parents where HUGE fans. I am much younger then your usual fan base but I can promise you that my children know every word to ‘millionaire’ and ‘cover of the rolling stone’ Your music is timeless and I won’t let it fade Away . Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all those long car trips screaming ‘I got stoned and I missed it’ in the car with my otherwise quite conservative parents lol lol Rest peacefully Ray ❤️

I'll never forget the BBC 1980 video concert in studio, with Ray singing Cover of the Rolling Stone & the JOY that he showed singing it & skipping across the stage as the band played the ROCK & ROLL solos! That band had FUN on stage! And, the harmony Ray sang with his 2 buddies on Sylvia's Mother, at Shel Silverstien's house boat on the San Francisco Bay. Ray strutted around after the recording! God bless him! He inspired me to get the band back together again : )

My favourite band as a kid, say Ray live in Windsor, Ontario. When Cover of the rolling stone was played I sang at the top of my lungs. Ray spoke into the mic "you want to sing this?" he asked and started laughing with the band. After the show I was invited to party with the band back at the Holiday Inn. One of my best memories ever.
