IDK if things are still the same with Ripcord since they have moved from Montana to Canada, but years ago their outstanding customer service is what kept me using their products for over a decade. Always been quality. Glad to see they are catching up with the times again.

My family and I have been shooting ripcord for close to ten years now, no complaints. Limb or cable driven no difference.

Just got my RATCHET yesterday and I'm at the range now shooting it. The listing on ebay said limb driven but it's buds cable activated . I love the look of the rest alot and so far , no fletching issues at all . Worth the money in my opinion and I really like the design of the micro adjust . Great video brother !!!

Nice review!!! the launcher re adjust is simple just loosen the launcher dial, hold the dial and push the arm down and lock it you dont need to retention the cord.

I like the look of the rest. Realy need to test this one,i have had a few Ripcords over the years,and never had any issues with them.the micro adjust on this one at this price point makes a big difrance.

I have the hamskea Epsilon and am very happy with it, however, it is a pain in the ass to adjust. So this looks amazing. If the durability holds up, I think they have a winner on their hands.

The 1 piece removable quiver sits out further, it's only the 2 piece fixed quiver that sits even closer to the riser that has clearance issues.

When you lock the second screw on the ratchet wheel, how many shoots can you do without to redo the , unscrew the second bolt, ratched, then screw again to lock pls? i m going crazy with mine and no1 know if this is a failure or normal behaviour here ( i need to do that every 4-6 shoots). Else every single shoots without the locking second screw on the wheel, but i can understand that. i shot 60 arrows per day and need to do the process to much time, i wan to ask if this is a failure or the normal behaviour before to drop 200$ to the garbadges Thx

Interesting design. Haven’t looked at rest prices since I bought my hybrid Hunter several years back. Little bit of sticker shock as this “less expensive” model is $209-$259. 😮 I’ll likely give this one a closer look though as I’ve been a fan of Ripcord products in the past.

One thing I just noticed from the front picture, it looks like the modern Mathews bows, you would struggle to get a maximum allowed WA overdraw (6cm) if you wish to torque tune or just want an overdraw ! (Struggled mightily on my brace bar Hoyt)

Good stuff. Vaportrail doesn’t have any of those weird springs of gizmos for tightening the cord. Vaportrail is easier than this. Vaportrail clears the arrows. Just buy a Vaportrail.

Did they thread screws directly into plastic? Is the grub screw that holds the limb chord directly crushing the chord or is there a plate in between? Also wondering if the blade is replaceable without disassembling the whole unit?

Ive used many ripcord rests and for the most part they a great product, Canadian based i believe. Years ago they had something special with the Lok rest, the only limb driven rest that had a precock like a cable driven does but they had high failure rates. I owned four of them and all four broke within 6 months of use. Internal componets failure. Don't know why they didn't dig into that further or why another company doesn't make a limb drive that that the launcher precocks.

I was of the impression that the "integrate" style interface was proprietary to QAD, which is why Hamskea isn't compatible. Is that true, and if so, does this mean that Ripcord is paying a licensing fee to QAD to attach to that system?

My super saber and blazer veins contact this rest. Is this my shops fault for improper setup, or will these veins not work with this rest? Is this a knocking point problem? Or just like most things, would me torqueing the bow be the problem?
@ralph2142-2 күн бұрын
I removed the cage, i also have marks on the top from my veins, can i ask you since this product is not fairly documented: you do have to loosen the one set screw before you ratchet the tension down again, as you ratchet the string tighter you also have to hold the rest down with your fingers, if this is a normal behaviour, to do the processe every single shot (yes i supose, if i dont lock with the second screw), else if this is realy the normal behaviour, with the lock screw who block the ratchet, to redo the operation every 5-6 shoots, after 40-50 shot, ok i can understand, but every 5-6 shoots, it is my arrow rest who fail or this is a normal behaviour? because im going to drop this to the garbadge, and buy something more traditional to shoot 60 arrows without spending time with screws every 5 min...
