About 2 weeks after this removing of the wrist band incident occurred, Ambrose destroyed Australia in the deciding Test Match at the WACA in Perth with a devastating spell of 7 for 1 (that's 7 wickets for 1 run, not the other way around). Australia were crushed by an innings inside of 3 days, the West Indies won the series, and Ambrose got 3 individual awards all at the same time immediately after. Those awards were the player of the match, the player of the test series, and the player of the entire Australian summer.

5:56 That ball from release took 0.933 seconds to hit the wicket. I found this out by looking frame by frame to see the contact. The popping crease to the wicket measures 18.9 metres. By doing 18.9/0.933, and then multiplying this by 2.237 (conversion from m/s to mph), we get the answer for how fast that ball was bowled at. *the ball was bowled at 45.3 mph*
