In today's video. The client has a massive rip in their jeans, so I am showing you the process of how I create a durable patch. The jeans actually belonged to my daughter so I had the freedom to use a different colour for the bottom part so you can get a better idea of how it looks. As mentioned in the video, you want to find another jean of the exact same colour and it is as if nothing ever happened!

Fabric glue? Some washes out, some is permanent... I think either would work? Actually, a tiny bit of Elmer's Glue-- school glue for kids-- might work (let all the glues dry completely) but I would absolutely do testing first, on similar fabric. (I'd be testing whether it stuck well enough, and whether I was ok with how stiff it left the fabric... thinner smaller dots of glue would likely end up most flexible. And whether it washed out or not.)

@DowntownTailoring

Thanks for the kind words! The machine is great. Yes, it is a fair amount a work, we charge around $16 Canadian dollars when it's just one side, in this case it was 2 sides so it would be around $24 for this repair. Our customers are usually very pleased with this kind of job, it saves their jeans :)
