I surfed yesterday early and it was hard to get a few waves when every second surfer was a pro. Amazing conditions and great filming as always!

At 65 I still have memories of a BIG day on a board I'd made in 1980. Love Spappers and was a regular at " The Port o' Call" where we used to stay. $12 a night and make your own breakfast. The locals at the hotel were really nice too. Surfed Coolangtta and Kirra. BUT XXXX can't make beer!

That outer section is just a barrel on the shallow bar. If you iggy that to ake that second bar, life is good on the right swell. Or get tubed and kick out

I just can't get my head around how many f*cking people are in the line up. Waves look fun but dodging kooks kinda ruins it.

Rarely worth it, could be waiting 1-2 hours to get a wave sometimes only to get dropped in on.
