There’s guys I know who have been trail and lake riding their entire lives and are always riding the newest fastest sleds and they went on a Chris Burandt Backcountry trip a few years back and all of them struggled. Leo, the trick is when trying to carve in the snow, you need to steer in the opposite direction. It will set the sled on its side. Those Catalysts sound so damn good!

No camera can ever pickup the perception of the hills while snowmobiling. Looks like an awesome riding experience. When you turned your head perpendicular to the hill climb you can catch a glimpse of the tree angle against the snow cover… nice!

​The Catalyst chassis is the first new Cat chassis in like a decade+, but it's a non turbo.. only a 600... Everyone else is making 850 turbos from the factory.. lol. These guys grabbed the Catalyst and put the turbo on them and they actually rip! Everyone knows about this.. but there is no content out there ;)

When sledding always keep on the trottle more then not. In the snow you have to keep motion or you will experience the falling and tipping alot more. Find the limits and turn back just a little and have fun 👍🏻

Nice, that's high!! Highest altitude trip I went on was back in the late 90s. My Uncle flew us up in his jet ranger (he owns Pemberton Helicopters)to a spot in the Pemberton Icefields where some scientists used them for getting around. I was happy to help make sure they worked!! It's was around 6-7000ft. and a day of ripping in a glacier! One of the best days of my life.
