I love this song, and I love the simple embellishments that add so much to it. Sounds great! You play and sing well.

One of my fav songs! Actually, probably the only Grateful Dead song I know. Thanks for getting fancy! I usually play songs the "boring" way, but would really love to get better at the fancy fingering, "walk downs", etc. So fun! :)

I like the 2nd pattern you show but I can't quite figure out what you're doing. It's looks like you're picking the A string then the E string then strumming. Can you clarify what you're doing? Thanks. Sounds great.

Hi! I really enjoyed your cover of the song, so nice. What are the chord change walk downs between verses that you are using in the cover? They are not on the sheet I purchased from you. Would you be able to share them? Thank you!
@AndrewGulledge4 жыл бұрын
You are so kind, Connie! Sorry if I didn't mention the walkdown. I think it is just half-steps. I am trying to get a feel for Jerry's single note walkdown there. You can also just do his single notes. Please email me if you need some help.

Great video, thank you. I number the strings from the top down (G to A string) 4 to 1. When you're explaining the first strumming style, you say third string and pick the E string, and you say 2nd string and pick the C string. To me the third string would be the C string and the 2nd string would be the E string. Can someone clarify this. Thanks!
