The absolute most beautiful version of a perfect song. In my 66 years on earth this is the BEST song I have ever heard. If you want to start your day off with pure happiness then listen to "Ripple" four times! The joy of the musicians is infectious: Roberto Luti, FeFe Lee, Bill Krueutzmann, La Marisoul, Keelin Garcia, Blind Boy Paxton, Elyasaf Bashari, Luciano Damiani, Sassi de Matera Strings, Washboard Chaz, Jason Tamba, Anala Abdel Halik, Mohammed Alidu, Tula, Vasti Jackson (the three most soulful guitar licks ever played), Las Rosas Angelina's, Clarence Bekker ( the luckiest, and coolest, cat on earth), The Chicago Children's Choir, David Crosby, Jimmy Buffet and David Hildago. I hope all these folks know the how important they are to the world!

robbie rosenbaum I agree. This version of this beautiful little tune brings tears to my eyes. The melody flows softly like a warm and gentle breeze and the lyrics speak of life. One's birth, one's journey through life and finally, one's passing from it. "That path is for your steps alone''. This would have been a very dark and dreary world without The Grateful Dead.

I’m sure he would be in joy knowing that musicians around the world gathered around to sing his song. This is one of my favorite songs, and definitely the best on in the Singing for Change series. All of the musicians were absolutely perfect for the part they sang. If you want to get your day started with a positive note, play this song! You can't help but feel the groove and have a better day!

This song did more for the world in four minutes than the United Nations has done in nearly 80 years.

This vid may be 8 years old but wow did it strike me how music can bring people from around the world to sing and play together via the wonderful technologies we have today to perform what I think is one of the best songs ever written. Great job.

I'm sitting in a room, surrounded by 350 million year old eroded mountains, as the light from our sun reflects off of the nearby planets, Venus and Uranus and Jupiter shining brightly in the dark late evening sky, as tears roll down my cheeks, as if this song is not powerful enough as is, with seeing Mr. David Crosby singing and playing sharing his music here also with these other greatly talented musicians producing music to our souls and hearts... RIP Jerry, Robert, David, et al... thank you all for the songs that filled not only the air, but our life

I lost track of how many times I watched this video, and the other PFC videos too. This one is phenomenal. When Chaz smiles at the end it makes my day. Has PFC won a Nobel Prize? Why not?

😂❤Moving piece of work…obviously recognized by the many listeners here with whom I share their sentiments. As Jerry, David & Mr Margaritaville (Jimmy Buffet) believed, “music stretch’s across the universe and if you open and allow yourself, it will suck us into a place of beauty, thought and feeling like few other experiences in this world. I am pleased to have this opportunity to be here with you all, and remembering them !

Ripple is a very beautiful little song. Saw The Dead do this many times over the years but this version is simply so beautiful and sweet. It makes me tear up with happiness every time I hear it. Thank you Jerry. You and Phil and Bobby, "Pig Pen'', Mickey and Bill made the world a happier place and I'm forever Grateful to have been able to be here on the Earth when you guys were out there doing it.

My Mom is going to be 96 in December. Played Ripple for her yesterday, she became an instant Dead Head.
