The purpose of this move is not just to end your turn but also makes the platform wider, making it's easier to place the animals with lower risk of falling, because you can keep stacking them on the height that relatively low (if that makes sense www). Usually people use this strat in single player mode, "but why here in multiplayer mode, in this tournament? did they just want to end their turn?". So, at 02:00 Lui explained another win condition of that tournament. The one who's going to get the prize is not just the champion, but also a PAIR from a match that has the most animal stacks. So by doing this pro gamer move, they can raise their chance to get the end-game prize. Because even if they lost the match, at least they can "help" each other to stack the animals as many as possible.
