Amazon has amazing contour sticks and blush sticks from Kiko Milano. Ulta brand, Essence, and LA Girl have some decent products, too. Most of the products I buy are drugstore prices and a few high-end. If you'd like, I could make more recommendations. As far as Risa is concerned, you're in good hands. Risa's reviews are honest and accurate.

@ Please do make a list. I don’t live in the US and many of the most common brands are not available in my country, with the exception of the major global corporations (L’Oreal, Maybelline, Revlon, Cover Girl, etc.). There are no Ulta or Sephora stores, and there isn’t much variety in terms of products, shades and options. Importing cosmetics isn’t easy or cheap, either, so I have to be very careful with my money and the choices I make.

Darn it, Risa! I was so resolved this month to not buy any new products and create looks instead from the giant hoarder mountain of makeup I have that I haven't decluttered in probably nearly 2 years...don't judge! lol 😆 But then you go and post content like this, and because you and I have similar skin in both tone and type, I usually feel pretty confident that complexion stuff that looks great on you will look good on me too....now I want the foundation, primer, AND mascara (and that last one is odd for me because I've pretty much sworn off non-tubing formulas due to having tearing eyes from allergies, but it sounds amazing! I LOVE a mascara that gives good, natural definition). Good thing I already have the L'oreal Brow Lamination, and I agree it is fabulous! Well hope you have a lovely Sunday and my wallet may take a little hit but I am super passionate about makeup and I LOVE being excited about new products....the anticipation is wonderful but also it's euphoric when the product exceeds your expectations! Thank you, Risa, love your reviews! Just a few words about oily skin. I'm 73 and my skin is still very oily. The only area that can sometimes feel dry is under the eyes. The good news is that oily skin doesn't 'invite' as many wrinkles as dry skin.

Thank you so very much for doing this video. I just got my Maybelline lumi matte foundation last week. I am a 65 year old with very dry skin(very oily before menopause) I do lots of hydrating skin care and sunscreen. I love this foundation because I can put on all my hydrating, glowy skin care and then put this foundation on top. It lasts all day and my skin doesn’t look like chalk or too oily. I used a BK beauty foundation brush to apply it. I also tried mixing it with a skin tint for a little more coverage and it was fabulous. Great foundation in my arsenal

I've been using the lumi matte foundation for a year. It was quietly released here in southeast Asia last year. Usually, my primer is the make up forever and powder is Laura mercier. My face will stay good for twelve hours in hot humid weather. Just a very reliable foundation. So happy you feel the same way. I'm 50 too. Love your work❤❤❤❤

We have the maybelline foundation here in Australia, and I too love it, but we have yet to see if we will get the jelly primer. If so I will be trying it as I have the same skin type as you. To note though, it does have castor oil in it, so I’ll be curious to see how that wears with added oil and for those prone to breakouts, could be bothersome, but love to hear others thoughts.

Your blue eyes are always so pretty - that close up!!!Yesterday I bought the Maybelline Super Stay 30H Lumi Matte in 129. I'm 75 with normal to minimally dry skin. I'm wearing it today. Right now it's "meh!" for me. The shade is too pink on me, feels a little sticky and also accentuates my pores. 🫣 Perhaps a primer would help if I get the correct shade. I will definitely buy the L'Oreal mascara.

Such a great video today! I agree that lip combo at the end is extremely flattering on you! I struggle with lip colors. I'm very pale, so some colors make me look a little unhealthy. Often the undertones are a bit too warm, but I appreciate your recommendations all the same, especially the ones that are slightly cool or more neutral leaning. This type of video is so fun, and I like that you had a mix of reviewing favorites but also doing a try on/first look.

I am 64 years old and I still have oily skin. Used to hate it when I was young but love it now as it keeps me looking younger than my years. Of course good skin care helps. The Maybelline foundation sounds interesting, but I really don’t need another foundation or skin tint. Definitely going to be trying the L’Oreal mascara!

It’s not always easy to trust foundation reviews because you never know the condition of the person’s skin that’s giving the review. Do they exfoliate regularly?What kind of moisturizer do they use? There’s so many variables with foundation so in most cases you just have to try it yourself. I’m glad to hear you’re loving the combo too!!

Hi Risa 😊👋 I also bought the maybelline lifter stick in a darker shade to use as contour, and it is great. I also bought it in shade 20 to use it as a concealer, and surprisingly, it looked really nice. I also bought the maybelline 30-hour stay foundation, and it looks amazing. I also purchased the Cover FX power play foundation, that's another good one. For reference, I'm 51 years old with minimal fine lines, normal skin, a bit oily in the T-zone, and sensitive skin. I only purchase satin or matte foundations. Otherwise, I'll have a slip and slide situation on my face, and I have to powder my T-zone. I've been loving Ben Nye powder in buff for neutral undertones. I've been using neutrogena daily liquid exfoliant daily at night and topping it off with advanced clinicals retinol cream, and then once it's all absorbed (45 minutes later), I slugg with Cerave Renew oil before bed. I know dermatologists say this is a no no but the liquid exfoliant is only 7%, and it is designed for sensitive skin.

It’s funny I click on this video and you’re reviewing several things I’m wearing at work today ! That foundation is divine on my oily combo mature 61 yr old skin and that lip oil/gloss and duck plump lip liner is perfection. This video had me in a chokehold ❤ I had just read Kristina's vid comparing the foundation vs the tint. THEN I saw this video & I ran to Alta! They had everything but the jelly & i bought everything else! I was bummed about the Jelly so.... i looked for what I know... Laura Mercier. I found Pure Canvas Blurring Primer. Big price difference than the Jelly...but I was on a mission & my alta had no idea when the jelly was going to be in the store AND I couldn't get it off Alta's website either! I came home & saw your video RE your time with B. Brown, T. McEvoy & L. Mercier and then i didn't feel so bad about the price difference. Plus I did find Jelly on Amazon (ordered 2 - will be here tomorrow. YaY! Im loving the Pump Ambition lip Oil - i grabbed Worth It...and it is!! The NYX Duck Plum liner was very limited so I purchased Flirty Flip and Subtle Touch - both work well with the L'Oréal lip oil and.... I've been putting the gloss on and then added the liner...which i had not heard of doing it that way until I saw your video!! Thank you so much for this video and alllll I've learned the past two days! You bring so much to so many!! Good evening Risa I tried the new Maybelline foundation and it is amazing it reminds me of Estee Lauder double wear foundation the Maybelline foundation has full coverage and it dries down and wears just as long as the double wear. I got the Maybelline Lifter Stix in shade 20. I find it hydrating, but not as hydrating as the LYS stuck foundation. I like it more than the new Milani stick foundation. I have no problems building it up to a medium coverage.
