I set a rule for myself in college: I will do better in all my classes if I get enough sleep: I will be in bed before midnight. and if there's extra work to do, I'll wake up early. Not only did that rule help me be happier and healthier and get more sleep, I'm convinced it also helped me do better in my courses that I would have otherwise! There were a few funny early mornings, crossing paths with roommates who were still awake. xD

Inspiration for the day: In 1999, I watched an incredible football match on TV that taught me a valuable life lesson. Man Utd were playing in the final of the European Champions league, losing 1-0, and everyone thought that's it. At the end of the full 90mins, there were 3 mins of added time. Within those last mins everything changed: Man Utd scored 2 goals in 3mins to seal a most memorable win. 😱 How did they do it? They never stopped believing in themselves. They kept playing to win. 10 years ago, I lay defeated in the sands of the Nyiri desert after an mk 2 grenade went off killing my best friend. I was captured and taken hostage without ransom. They wanted info and I knew once they had it, I'd be dead. In the middle of the night I was placed in a steel cage the size of a dog kennel. I had a few hours after their first interrogation attempt to consider what it was I was fighting for. Surrounded by enemies, surviving wasnt in my deck of cards. That was until i imagined my friend, who's body shielded me from the bulk of the explosion. He died, I survived. I wasn't about to changed that. The next time my cage door was unlatched, I kicked it open, knocking the enemy back. I burst thru and thru down my knee to his throat, crushing his larynx. Shoved another onto an open fire and took their weapons, opening fire on too many to count. I ran, trecking over 160 miles without food or water to our base before collapsing in front of the front guard. This is the music I hear, when I think of crazy and heroic fictitious tales like the one I just told. 😐

To those that believe.. . I had got baptized before when I was younger but I think I didn't really understand it... I thought baptisim was a part of salvation.. or I was scared that if I didn't get baptized I might not make it or even their would be a small chance of not making it to heaven because of that... But the real reason is not for us to get to heaven but to be symbolic of the new life we have in Christ that gives us power in Jesus says.. "to do even greater things" then he did.. Think of it this way.. that we can know The thief on the cross.. did he ever get baptized? No he didnt... Why not? Because Jesus had already got baptized on his behalf.., and not just baptized.. but lived a sin free life.. Jesus really did do everything that we could never accomplish... Which is why because of one man's sin.. we were cut off from God.. but because of ones man's righteousness.. our relationship with God has been completely restored through Jesus... So know that.. that you live a life of victory NOW... Not just to get to heaven.. but to manifest God/the kingdom of heaven thru YOU... Because we have been restored completely.. so you lack nothing in HIM because it is no longer you who live but Christ who lives in you..for greater is He that's is in you then he that is in the world.. remember you lack nothing.. How will they know that you are my disciples? That you love them.. do everything in love.. watch God manifest thru your life in love to others.. seeing them as more important than you.. give up every offense torwards you.. Christ didn't hold our sins agaisnt us so we shouldn't agaisnt others.. but to love them... God is love so when you love you are operating through the fruits of the spirit.. THATS THE POWER! For if you can prophecy and move mountains but don't love you are nothing... So know that Christ has given us everything we need.. go therefore make disciples and shut down the lies that enemy has caused others to believe that they are lacking in Christ.. let the gospel spread like a wildfire through you That fire is an eternal flame ‍
