It is, but what kinda gets me in the people smiling while singing along to it. Yes it is a beautiful song, but sad as hell. Maybe it's my lived experience of knowing people with ptsd and others people in the military, I feel I can't smile singing along with this song. It's more of trying not to get choked up.

This video breaks all the remaining doubts I've had about Tim performing live. In most videos out there from live concerts Tim's voice sounds pretty flipping bad. In this one, however, he's a god.
