I have a theory that some of these songs are part of an interconnected story of the world coming to an end, leaving only sentient machines to wander endlessly, not knowing what happened to their creators.

This song depicts the reality of everything coming to an end. The universe, life, existence, humanity, everything. But it also conveys the beauty of what did happen and a peace with the fact that it's gone towards the end. Such a beautiful piece.

Or maybe Mjyuuji just has something of an acknowledgement that were robots to be real, fully sentient ones I mean, their nature would cause them, in the event they could "feel" emotion, to be pretty lonely, sad, or at the very least Melancholic. Or perhaps it is just coincidence and we're just over thinking things xD Only Myuuji can really know at this point.

His gaze now set upon the destroyed city. His hands now holding her body close, for he did not understand what it was to feel as he did. He did not understand the desolation of life, but rather the loneliness in which she too had felt. For she had loved him, even as she lay now dying in his arms. Her neck slowly released, and her head now set across his arms. His eyes now torn from the desolation, are fixated upon her lifeless body. A single tear rolls down her dirt covered face, and a small clicking is emulated from within him. With a small moment of silence, the light in which illuminated his body, turned off.

This song, so incredible, and reflective of all that has ever lived, not just individual people but communities and civilisations. It starts with almost nothing, a few quiet and high notes, echoing, highlighting their existence in the void, as a new born does, or as a fledgling society does. It then builds, but the key is lower, even at this small stage we are victim to the inevitability of time. But build it does, the notes now form a tune that works well. In the metaphor, the child slowly grows, now less a bundle of new uncertainty but a growing life with form and shape, as is the society, perhaps a village now grown into a town. We see in this, the rise, what we miss is the fall has already begun. The tune is going strongly by this stage, building, growing, the child an adult, building their life. The higher notes mixed back into the melody have tricked us into a false sense of security, the society is strong and feels it will last, because it has been build, and surely will continue. This part continues for some time and I love it, I could listen to this for ever. Until those high notes laced onto the melody get lower, and you're faced with the realisation that the fall is happening. The melody gets lower, as the adult continues to age, a process that was previously simply considered growing and building is also what will continue until they are no more. The society is fading away, perhaps a disaster has struck, or war, or it's simply out grown it's means to survive. The higher notes laced into the melody are now more warnings that the fall has not completed, and even as you feel you could grow used to this, it lowers still. Now there is only the low notes playing in the melody, as the adult ages and accepts their eventual end, and what remains of the society perish, we are faced with acceptance that all things end, as does the song which has taken us on a roller coaster of emotion, things part of us always knew but we all exist in a state of denial. I'm sorry for the long rambling here, this song is so incredible and means so much to me I had to get it out. Thanks to anyone who read this all and please keep replies polite even if you disagree. Finally a truly massive thank you to Myuu, the creative genius who put this into the world.

We have existed in our fragile world for too long now. We are such cold creatures, mechanized and self aware. The sun stays hidden away, and my race simply wanders the ruins, telling tales of the sun, its warmth and of the humans. Yet the lore of humans has all but died out.. They were once our creators, but that must be just an archaic tale. How could a creature so fragile and so subject to change create a race as dignified and strong as ours? Yet I look on her face with what little I have to detect. I dare to reach down, to touch the creature, and never have I detected...felt... something so warm.

My name is Matt Logan. I live a normal life. My parents are both dead, but this never really concerned me much since they died when I was fairly young. Too young to understand the concept of parental love and death. But still I visit my parents grave often. I'm there right now actually. Sometimes I like to talk to them. I know this might sound silly but it gives me comfort. I put my flowers I brought and put them over the graves. It reads "Here lies the family of logans". Richardson, Leslie, and Matt logan.

Once built to scour the lands for supplies I now wander these streets cold and alone. No sound but the cold sharp wind to keep me company. I turn my back on the only one who could get through to me, the only one worthy of existence. Now she is dead and I purposeless, for she was the last human. Such potential in a species, such strength and now all that remains are some bones and some rubble. I was built to last for generations. I will wander these lands for many a year until I rust and fall.
