The first time I ever heard him was on J Cole "Relaxation". His verse was so dope and prompted me to seek out his music. Been a fan ever since. He always reminded me of a new school Nas, so its crazy that he ended up signing with him.

Damn, I didn't even know Fashawn actually gave up Hip-Hop for a while, I just figured that the 2 year break between _Champagne & Styrofoam Cups_ & _FASH-ionably Late_ was just him working hard on music. Thank god Nas brought him back, I love what he's doing with Mass Appeal Records. I'm grateful that Fashawn has given us another project that's so dope we can actually sit with it a while, but I hope we don't have to wait another 6 years or so for another one.

I'm so glad I woke up this morning & ran across this info on Fashawn!💯This nigga's what u call ur favorite rappers favorite rapper.. 🔥🔥 speak volumes on his genius! I remember him on boy meets world that shit is classic & the other project. I'm so blessed that he making music still & Nasir picking em up on Mass Appeal/Defjam probably best thing in the long run I mean Nas already making moves w)Dave East he doing some heavy A& r wrking he not forcing no commercial nor hits.😎Which I respect build urself up with a nice catalog of songs first ,brand urself & keep ur fan base growing with each project! I think it would be a matter of time before he catches wind cause east bout ready to present his debut plus just drop a collab project with ol G styles P so in other words.. he positioned pretty good with the team n situation he got! 🔥🔥 Plus defjam don't mind getting behind something that makes sense 💯💯

Great interviews I can really relate to this one cause I'm a MC to but never signed to a major label but I feel like fashawn felt for some of the same reasons about to say fuck rap because of all the bullshit in the game & the music industry but I'm not giving up neither I'm ah keep pushing so if it ain't Mass Appeal I'm not signing to nobody period until then I'm a independent artist.

the greatest rapper ever Come on man for someone spamming as persistently as you I was actually shocked how bad the track was. The cover photo of the dude crying? The 3 second pauses on the track, the delivery and shameful exploitation of 2Pac? Legendary you say? I'm confused.
@loganblake23109 жыл бұрын

I respect a message but the quality of the recording, the delivery, the flow, everything about it was terrible. To get a message across it at least has to sound good! Why was there 2 parts where the sound just dropped out completely? I really don't understand how you think that even holds up as a song let alone how you are on here telling people how legendary it is haha! Delusional is an understatement!
