I am so excited, new models always good and hopefully mean we may see the eventual end of finecast. But I am most hopeful for more terrain

@@toomanyminis. Great question. I'd hope for an aura buff to F5 around Aranarth. But as Halbarad with the banner is a VERY different time line and Dunadain without banners are....even worse. I'd say that Aranarth and his possible legion have some serious heavy lifting to do. But I'd play them anyway, love me my homeless lads. Horses and all

I'm optimistic about the new edition because it's going to bring lots of new people into the community. And despite all the whining and negativity I'm seeing elsewhere, the rules are in good hands and all the new sculpts have looked great. Nothing to be afraid of.

I’m well stoked. The War of the Rohirim is almost irrelevant news in comparison to the Angmar News as we have no idea what to expect for it. The Angmar stuff looks really good. Just want it out and out now!! 😂😂

I’m super excited!! Middle Earth SBG has only ever gone from strength to strength, and is in great hands. You really have to nitpick to find any flaws.

I’m cautiously optimistic too. I think your take sounds pretty likely. I don’t think GW are going to wreck this game, it’s widely acknowledged to be a good ruleset and previous tweeks to the main rules have by and large proved positive. I just hope the minis stay the same size at the same price point.

They’ve kind of said they will fit with the existing range so I think you’re safe.

The only hope I have is that GW didn't change the core of the game in 20 years and I expect them not to do it in the next edition. It put some things, took out others, but the core mechanics are the same from 20 years ago. I'm okay with profiles changing. I'm okay with wargear getting removed if there's none of their model. But the rules are simple their best, and the reason I play the game. That said, I'm not buying anything else until I know the model survives the passage to the new edition

I think removing wargear that isn’t modelled is a good call. Very likely to happen.

Just wondering how there gunna make models from anime characters without making them looking anime

I guess with relatively simple drawings on screen there is plenty of room to bring them in line with the existing range but yes it will be interesting to see them.
