It's also the most justifiable since, after the necrons, they're the faction who holds the most blame for nearly every problem in the setting, including the tyranids since the events that brought them to the galaxy were because of chaos, and the Eldar have varying levels of blame in the origin of just about every chaos god

truly, the eldar deserve such greater appreciation. eternal mystics and psychotic alien pirates will always hold stories worth telling. a tragedy that the tale of those among them who defy death itself was cut short due to an absence of audience willing to lend an ear.. the issue of telling the tales of the eldar isn’t that there aren’t stories of wonder, horror or magnificence to be told, it is the want of the culture-less thronging masses of SWINE that compose the rotten empire of fools who usurp the most glorious race to ever grace the galaxy; to hear only more and more and yet more of their beloved mon’keigh’s degeneracy and barbarism. we must set out on a RIGHTEOUS crusade to enlighten these lesser ape-things to the self-evident supremacy of the illuminated aeldari, miracle workers and noble lords of the galaxy since time immemorial, inheritors of the wisdom of gods themselves. i jest. or..?

Love the Eldar lore and I like the newer version where the Chaos Gods minus Slanesh was initially created during the multiple War in Heaven and then they fully formed during Humanity's time. Also the Necrons and C'tan now being more then just this Galaxy and the War in Heaven literally being the entire Universe and multiple galaxies. It makes far more sense and logic and the Milky Way is where the war ended after multiple galaxies where destroyed and the shattering of C'tan shattered.

@matthewmarajh1659 no as the Tyranids arrived from other Galaxies and its shown that the Rangdan possibly did as well. However multiple Galaxies where destroyed and this helps create the God's of Chaos.

I’d say you made a proper emphasis on Craftworlds philosophy. Why exactly they left, and how they live rught now. Same goes for Exodites. Also, when describing Fall, most people forget about story in Path of the Seer book. It gives some really interesting perspective on the Fall. And idea, that things may have not no so straight forward as we used to believe.

Pet theory: Creating the Emperor messed up the balance of warp energies, causing the creation of chaos demons and gods, and corrupting the normal creation process of eldar gods changing slaanesh from a god of reverie to that of consuming obsession. This could have affected Aeldari souls as they cycled through the warp.

@@playtoyx one entity born of the sacrifice of all the shamans, acting as an avatar of humanity, which had tens of thousands of years to gather power from the warp before slaanesh. Don’t forget the three other gods coincide with human events much earlier in the timeline, and the first human murder creates the first daemon. Human’s have a seemingly special place in the galaxy. It gives a reason for the Emperor to be the anathema to the gods. Also a tragic irony that the humanity’s saviour is the root of the big evil in the galaxy. The chaos gods seem to be perversions of natural emotions, and grow sort of like a cancer, threatening to kill the host by consuming it. Would be poetic if they existed because of humans messing with natural processes for their own benefit.

Wouldn't Slaanesh be the LAST demon/god spawned into existence by the Aeldari? And i doubt our middle ages spawned the other gods. I'd think it would be the other way around. As mighty Khorne awakens in the warp , some insignificant(in the galactic scale) warlord on an insignificant planet just declares himself Ghengis Khan. One of many billions of "warlords" throughout the sentient races of the galaxy. Most definitely including the Aeldari.

@@Troupe_Master you don't need to be so angry about it. Lore-wise humanity CANNOT be the sole reason for a Chaos God's existence in a galaxy full of sentient creatures just like humans. The Aeldari sensed all emotions on a denser level and were innately connected to the warp. It is only natural for someone to assume one insignificant backwater species of around several hundred million people can't create chaos gods out of their asses when the galaxy would have millions of planets inhabited by other/comparable such sentient creatures.

_For the Newbies about the Eldar birthing a God:_ The Eldar experience emotions on a scale so great that it'd overload the mind of any human. On top of that they are all psychically capable if not innately talented, practically immortal and think much faster than we do - all of which feeds into the Warp like no race does. So when they went down a path of hedonism and eventual depravity, then stayed the course at top speed; It created a God faster than any race could have. This is why Slaanesh is connected to and lays claim on every Elder in existence.

A fun little tidbit I remember. Slaanesh actually helped orchestrate their own birth. Since the chaos gods are timeless and always existed just their influence is lessened. Slaanesh used their ties with the Eldar, to corrupt the Eldar into creating Slaanesh.

They're kind of hiding in the a corner of the webway iirc and have a 'deal' of sorts where Slaanesh won't actively go out of her way to hunt them down and consume their soul so long as they empower it with acts of supreme degeneracy and super torture like turning people into living, conscious flesh chairs and stuff. Humanity was already fucked after the war with the 'men of iron' and then whatever was left got isolated from one another because warpstorms accompanying Slaanesh's births making interstellar travel impossible. It was the final drop making the bucket spill over.

Honestly the time scale where the chaos gods birth I find it to be. Underwhelming and nonsensical consider that all 3 of them were birthed out of humanity within less than 400 years apart consider that it already existed grand scale of wars before the humanity and so did plagues. Honestly I’d find it better if they had always existed and not birthed by humanity. Slaanesh is perhaps the only god that actually made sense
