@@keku52 i half agree. where i disagree is the notion that opinions can be wrong. opinions cannot be correct nor incorrect because they are subjective. the sentiment of your statement "their wrong opinions" is what is causing this divide between the enjoyers and the haters in the first place because the haters of this game treat their opinions like it's some objective truth and the enjoyers of the game call the haters wrong when both sides of that argument are completely impossible because of the meaning of the word opinion. an opinion is not wrong or right. an opinion can be based on correct or incorrect information, but the opinion itself does not have any objectivity. I'm beginning to think people nowadays never got that "objective vs subjective" lesson in school. I wouldn't be surprised, since the quality of schools have been going down hill, and they've stopped teaching some things or started using worse methods to teach the usual things in the past decade in the US.

God, I really just love that ending message of keeping these cultural traditions alive, these art forms are beautiful and they deserve to be preserved and observed for generations to come! This goes for cultural traditions around the world and I love that mihoyo/hoyoverse is doing their part to introduce some of these traditions to the world! ​@@Chin-su Nah we don't ought to appreciate it, there's so many gachas and other types of games out there that do care more about quality check than MHY does (in Genshin at least), people just don't play them. Are you gonna tell me they're doing great when some characters are massively broken while others are barely usable (in Abyss) and clunky to play? Or how about the fact that Liyue characters are generally proven and admitted to be more favored than others (muh China namba wan), particularly Inazuman and Sumerian characters? The devs behind Genshin have lost their passion at least ever since Inazuma, as it is evident by the sharp drop of design, kit and story quality, with maybe the exception of the later released Liyue DLCs (Chasm and Chenyu Vale) and characters and archons/dragons

@@sashimi3478 I never said Genshin impact cared most about quality check. There are games out there that surpasses MHY games in certain apsects and it is completely your choice to play them instead. "Are you going to tell me they're doing great when some characters are massively broken while others are barely usable (in Abyss) and clunky to play?" - I've adressed this matter quite clearly in my previous reply. There is always plenty of room for improvement for both lore and gameplay. Next, I see no promblem with Liyue characters alledgedly being more favoured by MHY since it is a Chinese company, besides I think characters from other regions are just as good and it's pointless to feel unjust about it rather than just enjoy any character for who they are. I've seen no decline since inazuma of the aformentioned aspects except for Chiori leaks where her E is seen to be identical to Keqing's, other than that, this is a rather subjective aurgument and thus would not be debated. To sum up, this isn't to justify any shortcomings from MHY in game development, there are alot of controversy that they deserved to be called out for but there is no doubt that they put much effort into the game and there is absolutely no reason to disregard that fact

i appreciate how much love and effort they put into gaming they hold themselves to very exacting quality standards. just count all the times they said they weren't satisfied with something and all the iterations they clearly went through with different aspects to get them right. i'm amazed by how they did completely new things not just with gaming but also with making man chai, not to mention going over 3 years of material to update them to aesthetic standards i hope they use all the things they learned about lion dance while developing gaming and put them together for an episode of a journey of art and heritage!

i remember back in the Big Leak of 2023/22 his concept design was in it, those who saw the designs were hyped bc there's a possible new character coming after some time of reruns. he had 2-3 different colourways in terms of his overall look. but when the final leak of "lion dance boy" came out, ppl were disappointed bc his colour scheme didn't seem to match the colours of irl lion dance (red/yellow/gold). the greyish black softened the look imo, so it doesn't look too glaring in the eyes. i love gaming and i was excited for him when i saw his final leak design. and i'm happy to see most ppl feel the same now that everyone has a try on how he's played!

Main complaints people had were the same base models all characters used but they don't even know how much these models save up their time to develop these characters. Even with the same 5 base models, Genshin still takes way longer to release characters compared to HSR due to other aspects of the characters especially when they need to work well in open world environment with lots of freedom in movements

I knew developing a character took a long time, but seeing how much work is put into them gives me new appreciation for the team. Also, that dynamic new resolution feature should be explained at a more accessible place, too. I thought it meant the complete opposite (scaling quality down to ensure smother running) when I came across it in the settings and turned it off.

Alot of effort is put in every character. they expect them to make 4 models in 1 patch. and take note natlan is coming that means more of natlan characters are in production. It's so wonderful to hear about these behind the scene moments. I really loved Gaming as a character when I first saw him, falling in love with his design and his personality. Watching this video just made me realize how much more he is. He represents the struggle behind a final product that will probably never be acknowledged.
