Thanks for making this! I was curious after visiting. To be honest, as a first time rider who has seen videos, they did such a great job that I was engaged and forgot to notice the kylo animatronic was gone! Probably the best B mode I’ve seen for a ride

Got the B mode the first time I ever rode this ride. I knew immediately it was the B mode because I’ve been following anything to do with this ride since it was announced, lol. Going to Disney again this Christmas, fingers crossed we get the A mode.

I've always got b-mode of Kyle ever since I started riding this to Feb 2022 to April 2023. This sucks that it only works at Disney land, hope it works at Disney world! It does a bit, but I never Got to see it it sadly :(

Thanks for the video! We just got back from our trip to DisneyLand and it was our first time visiting Galaxy's Edge and riding "Rise of the Resistance". Rise was closed initially to start the day and we ended up apparently riding the "B version". I was curious to see what the "A version" looked like and I'm glad it's not significantly different. Honestly, I'm not even certain we got the lesser version. The B version might even be better. The AT-AT scene nearly took my breath away when we first encountered them!

I think mode A is better but Mode B is cool to just almost as good (I've ridden both of them)

its the final scene when kylo tries to stop you be mode they use a screen instead of the actual figure

No there are some major differences. The three ones I noticed are the AT-AT walker no longer firing at you in B mode when you get up the elevator to the second floor of the hanger, the big gun cannons in the room with the windows no longer firing during B mode, and the biggest difference being no Kylo animatronic at the end. Instead, it's a video of him talking to you from inside of his ship.

It is way better, far more immersive and exhilarating. Such a shame that Disney won't try to figure out how to get it working consistently and is taking the lazy way out.
