Did some all nighters and it shows, god damn it i wrote some names wrong -_- If you have any question please write it, i will try to help as much as i can if you have an issues! Some Tips: Will update this in the future if i find some things and when people share some stuff! This comes from @ErraticSeven : Yagyu Shinkage-Ryu, the R1+Triangle can be used against projectiles as well, allowing you to teleport to the target and close the gap.

Quick note for Yagyu Shinkage-Ryu, the R1+Triangle can be used against projectiles as well, allowing you to teleport to the target and close the gap. It's insanely good against archers.

Some style need the player to forge bond with partner with respective style to get the Master rank. For example, to get Master Rank Tatsumi-Ryu you need to form 'Fated' bond with Yukichi Fukuzawa. This can be check in the game at Bonds menu

You have to be Anti-Shogunat at the beginning of your playthrough. In the mission: Sakurada Gate Incident, you have spare the boss! Then you unlock the mask, and to unlcok the armour rest of the armour set will take some time. At around lv 40-44 you unlock the side mission Watchman. After beating this mission you get the armour set!. Hope this helps.

Really hard to say, for me one of the best for counter and counterspark is the Hayabusa style. But they all have their strength and it depends what you really like at the end.

Thanks for these videos. I know this might be a really annoying thing to record, but could you please show the movelists of the allies/NPCs that you can take on a mission? I know some of them have wholly unique movelists (like Jules Brunet and the whipsword lady)

Sorry for the late reply You can find him in the military base! After the main Story mission in the base where you fight the Shogun, he should be near him afterwards!

Hello dude great video btw but I have a question: I am master rank in the dojo with sawamura (hayabusa style) and I can’t have the R1+O. Can you help me about these please. For information I’m bond 2 with him but I saw that bond 3 don’t give you new skills but maybe I’m wrong

Thanks and glad you like it, to unlock the R1+O attack you need bond lv 3 with him. At 11:56sec you can see, that at bond lv 3 you unlock the Hayabusa-Ryu Master. When you check the characters and see for as example, Bond 3 or 4 gives you mostly the Master and ergo the 4th skill attack. Hope this helps.

And you have to be Master in one other Katana style as well. R1+O give you the Chance to use a Skill from a other Style you mastered. So if Hayabusa your only Master, you can’t equip something else. Hope that’s help someone who search for the same task.

Happens and let's be frank, the game is big and long, it's easy to miss something. But you can always go back with the Testament of Soul to replay a mission if you need if a character died. But does that mean, you don't have him unlocked in the dojo either?

I've been through it like 5 times with over 200 hours, and i still haven't got some of the styles lol, i tend to stick with tatsumi (by far the best for countersparking imo) and geiki

@@TheSenninGamer So, I found out why I never got the Spear style Jitokuin-Ryu. Turns out you need to use the Dojo at the military camp to unlock Deishu Takahashi's bond. Which I never did through the playthrough.

How far are you in the game currently? For Jigen to even be able to get, you need to spare Naosuke Li! If you killed him in the mission this can be missable! For Kogoro it takes times to unlock him in the dojo

Yeah, for the Katana and the Polearm it's the same mechanic.

That should be unlcoked with more story progress, you should unlcok in the last act a side mission with him. After that you got it!

From my knowledge, you can't unlock here style in the game. It's a complete unique style only she has. In my other video with All Allys you can see her full moveset. But could you link me the video to see it maybe, so maybe we can find out what style he was using, for Sabres there are only a couple. So shouldn't he hard to find out.

@@TheSenninGamer I really hope we get DLC down the line that releases more weapons like Sword and Shield and Whipblade. Also more unarmed styles. I'd also like a Katana Style like Gensei Kawakami's. Yukichi Fukuzawa's is fine and all but Gensei's is that upped to pure anime.

Sorry for the late reply, but normaly where you can change the other moves too. If i remember right they added it on you main character too now. When you go to your weapons and see the styles, you should be able to change it there now too.

It's the Drunkard Armor Set, you can unlock it trough Kogoro Katsuras Bond mission: A Fragile Alliance, it's a Level 36 mission.

He is a boss pretty early in the game where you get the glider at the end of it. You have to chose to spare him after the fight!

Sorry for the late reply 🙏 It's been some time, but if i remember right, you can unlock some Master skills for the fists, one you get from the big Monk and the other from the young Judo master. But i will look into it, tomorrow and share a link if i can find something!
