What about this monitor? www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-29UM68-P-ultrawide-monitor It has 75hz, FreeSync and IPS. Would that be a good option for people who don't want to spend so much?

I get horrible scan lines with g sync on this game, esp in the snowy parts. Can you notice them?

+David Selby I don't have any scan lines anywhere. Are you sure you don't have a defective unit? Many people have had scan line (and other issues) with this monitor earlier.

I have bad backlight bleed. I would trade it out but cant find one.

A little late on this comment but when you get to the "Soviet Installation" and "Geothermal Valley" area, your FPS will be begging for mercy LoL. It has great support for 21:9 though, despite the black bars for the pre rendered cut scenes.
